Modder for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and Crysis series, some of which have won Crytek community awards (most popular) while one of my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods has been featured in German PC gaming magazines "PC Games" and "PC Action". Many thanks to SetaKat and david.m.e for teaching me all the tricks to modding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I'm also an amateur programmer. The only honest hardware/game reviewer in the world, see GND-Tech.com (worthy mods may even get an article), Stalker.wikia admin, Cooler Master product beta tester, etc. I write coherent reviews for mods on ModDB. I mostly play Dragon Age series, Mass Effect series, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights 2, KOTOR series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. But I'm always up for some Natural Selection 2, No More Room in Hell, Killing Floor, and Serious Sam HD. I only play PAYDAY 2 and ArmA 3 privately, join our community at GND-Tech.com if you'd like to play with us.

The Penumbra series is one of the only horror series left in modern gaming - story driven, challenging, dark, and believe it or not, scary. People call Doom, F.E.A.R., Dead Space, and Resident Evil 4-5 horror games even though they're no more than just shooters. If you're looking for something more authentic and deep, then give Penumbra a try. Remember to play them at night.

Relies mostly on jump scares. At one point I died, and when I respawned a key I needed disappeared from my inventory, leaving me with only one option: restart the entire custom story.

Cool levels and atmosphere, could be a little bit longer and more scary.

Anna is a one of a kind, very unique experience. It is complex and very challenging, though they've perfected the atmosphere. It's extremely creepy at times, and it is an interesting tale about obsession and insanity. Ultimately, it is up to the player to draw their own conclusions. Two endings offer a completely different conclusion, while one is very ambigous. I highly recommend getting them all if you can. The controls are awkward and not ideal but easy enough to get used to.

Review for Part 1:
One of the more ambitious mods for Amnesia. Innovative level design and unique gameplay are among the strong points, though I don't like how much your hand is held while playing it. I realize (and so does the developer obviously) that mainstream gamers are slow and lack an attention span, but Amnesia attracts a different crowd who typically doesn't need THIS much assistance. But great mod overall.
Review for Part 2:
After two immediate releases, this prequel is extremely buggy and unplayable. It also relies too much on combat which is a mistake for Amnesia; it isn't meant for this. The only way combat would be acceptable is if Penumbra: Overture's combat system was added back to Amnesia. But so far the atmosphere is spot on, and it even has new enemies. This will turn out to be another excellent mod.

The scariest, most intense custom story available for Amnesia. Highly recommended.

Excellent mega-mod, easily the all-around best for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl without changing the campaign. Many much needed fixes are included, and the addition of vehicles, old mutants, sleep function, and much more are wonderful. If you're playing Shadow of Chernobyl for the first time, feel free to get this mod. If you've beaten the game already, this mod will probably draw you back for a second run-through.
Comparing this mod to SoC Complete is inevitable. Oblivion Lost adds more needed features, though doesn't redo shaders and the road textures aren't as good. Overall it isn't as pretty, though the skyboxes are superior and some of the best out there. However this mod is compatible with other mods' shaders. Take the shader folder from STALKERSOUP (preferred) or Complete 2009 and drop it into your Oblivion Lost gamedata folder. The result is possibly the best looking S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game.
Although I have much praise for this mod, it isn't perfect. Carrying capacity increased to 80 kg? Why on earth? No man can sprint with that much weight with such stamina. This is an easy fix at least. Beware that this mod disables headbob. Most people like this, but for the sake of realism I don't. I don't have many complaints though. Realistic weapon stats would be nice, but its easy to do this yourself.

A well made and very interesting mod about choice, free will, individuality, redemption, and power. Great work by the narrators too. Be sure to play it several times, choosing each available path.
And yes, people really are sheep. Especially gamers who tend to demonstrate the most successful brainwashing attempts in history (mostly Battlefield fans).

This is definitely the best existing modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. It pretty much perfects the atmosphere of the Zone in both the look, and the challenges one would face inside of it.
Misery 2.0 is much like modded Fallout 3 and New Vegas: hardcore, open world survival. You have to plan every single course of action you take, and things like this bring a unique level of intensity. The added gameplay complexity is amazing, and the alternate starts really add to the hardcore experience.
Games like this are the reason why I shake my head when people say "The Last of Us" is a good survival game. If only more games would be no-holds-barred like this.
With that being said, Misery 2.0 is in need of some minor tweaking. Headshots should be more damaging, overall bullet count should be lowered, repair kits are one-time use for some reason, some of the prices are strange. Weapon stats are surprisingly unrealistic for a mod like this. Nothing major, ignore the hissy-fit modern casual gamers complaining about the mod.
