thanks man! this makes the game. i run at full without a single hitch. I will recommend this to everyone i know who couldn't bear the problems with stalker and dropped it before leaving the cordon.

you dont see the water texture? look in the screenshots...it shoudl look like that. perhaps you have an effect turned off in your options? and MAN i want a 3d monitor so bad.

im confused. your trying to open this in the steam engine? are you saying that the "published" folder doesnt exist? if thats the case then, create it! make a new folder and call it "published" just create any folders that arnt there and your comp will know what to do. good luck!

youd have to edit the material somehow, but i dont think you can alter already cooked packages with the unreal editor.

the checkpoints were set up in kismet as a system of playerstarts that turn on and off. i am really sorry to hear they didnt work for you because they were one of my chief concerns and worked well in playtests. i'm working on strengthening them now.

No Checkpoints?! that must mean they wernt working for you! checkpoints are in place. did you actually die? where did you die? working on making those checkpoints fail-proof. the custom ladder volumes were created by andy steel, he has some postes on the epic forums under "steeler" and really saved this mod.
