5C.. not too forest green, but a good contrast, and no silly colored magazines.
because lots of them do:
I get the snow thing but the details in the pine are lost with the large blobs, also the the chunky trunk that comes to a point at top doesn't help the organic look.
So if I make some low poly trees for you would you use them?
Would it be possible to make a loud clinking noise as it hits the ground to give a heads up?
Cute! I love the style
Id try for a solid tan. since you are doing mostly desert themed?
another google sketchup house?
cool house. did you find it on google 3d warehouse also? Sketchup.google.com
What map is this?
Yup, I own one. This is how you attach a secure rail system to an AK type rifle. Rails on the dust cover would never hold a zero and would be inaccurate after a few mags. The other alternative is a large over hanging monolithic rail system coming off the gas block, but that is usually too far forward for scopes.
Middle east settings seem to be popular these days but without being political maybe a more universal theme would be better. Maybe something like eastern European? Let me dig up some buildings pics to brain storm and see what you think.
ignore the haters. They don't see your work in original content. Sure models aren't commercial level of detail, but they are fine for the beta of the project. Keep up the work.
try avoiding any texture touching the edge of the map or else you get those straight edges that look funky. Also I'd decrease the transparency a lot in order to make a darker red.
imdb has a link blocker
A 64 player sp mod? wow I've never seen one of these before. This is awesome, no verification needed 10/10
Umm... that's an NVG mount. It flips up to get it out of your face when you arnt using it. Helmet cams (rarely issued) are mounted on the side of the helmet (usually shooters dominant side).
If you had the time would you consider trying your skills on some mid grade architecture models that would be open source friendly (like Creative Commons:Non Commercial)?
I would be thinking primarily for the Refractor 2 engine so not highly detailed, and by being ccnc many non commercial indy artists and game developers could use it granted with proper crediting to the author.
I know its a lot to ask for but after reading about the bf2mc maps that the PC version missed out on, I was thinking how I would love to see some of those be made for the pc game (it would obviously be a lot of work) but I think it would fit the alpha project theme:
seem to be the best of the maps packs, but the oil rig one:
looks pretty interesting also: Battlefield.wikia.com
what is the cheat mod?
external IPs? So no lan?
Would it be possible to mod features similar to the age of mythology style gods and myth units?
wow. That looks good.
What is going on with the texture here?
Cute graphics. If successful I'd like to see some snow maps too (think ww2 Aleutian Islands). What is the going price for PC, and will there be any higher resolutions?
Very nice concept art. Keep up the good work.
The spring version is for an old version of spring. It is probably not compatible with the new ones which may use a different archived texture system and is causing the error.
