Why is the model mirrored? Its a good model but I think it should be switched back to ejection port to the right

If you want the mod to stand legally, I would highly suggest not using resources from the ARMA games. As cool as they may be, it will cost you much less to pay a 3d artist to make the model then it would be in lawyer fees.

I noticed some glove clipping issues on the last few pictures on the d-eagle's dovetail. Might want to adjust that.
There is an issue with the cnrgl_type95 reload animation where the grenade clips the barrel of the launcher. Just letting you know so it can be fixed.

I love PR, don't get me wrong, and the tree textures are nice, but they look all exactly the same size but maybe rotated differently, and the Bradley? looks pretty boxy. Strange, I thought the PR Bradley was much higher poly?

okay so none of you know jack about upper recievers, I am 90% sure that the muzzle cap is a magpul, so from that I believe the handguards are also magpul custom made parts.

There are some rear sights that flip, so they can remain down and not be in the line of sight. Might try that?

This looks very promising, almost an RTS sort of command on BF2.
that's also a freaking airsoft acog! A real goverment issued acog is much more expensive and uses fiber optic illumination. similar to this:
I had an acog when I was deployed to Iraq and every one got issued the same kind of red 'chevron' fiber optic type.
But there are other acog varients.

Do gundams in the animated series hold their rifles (not big guns) at the alert (2 hand pointed down like: Military.com ) or just one handed?
Also if gundams took more aggressive stances like bending their knees when firing, I think that would look pretty cool, but I don't know how cannon it would be.

I like the game concept. But I think the title is a little mis leading if the game is set in near future and uses some science fiction weaponry. Maybe "21st Century warfare" might fit better or something to indicate a somewhat futuristic setting?

To stop the recoil? It's a 5.56. It doesn't have a lot of recoil to begin with, and adding a suppressor doesn't take away much. You're talking about a game, I'm talking about reality. But it is a game after all, I was just expressing my opinion on the matter.

It looks kind of lacking in details. If it is a large ship it should have many functional parts to it that may or may not be seen externally. Maybe its just the shot because it is taken at some distance.
You could use some higher poly models. Maybe add some more details, but it is a good start.

That looks like it is not very combat test worth laser. I strongly suggest a change, as being in the military I've never seen such a precariously looking place laser, but I do not doubt its existence as a real laser mount. I'd suggest something like this, as this is what I have commonly seen on US issue M9's.

I made some high rise models, and posted them in the WIP at springrts. I was wondering if you thought we could use them. I made it so they are modular and can share a higher res texture with each other and I can create an unlimited amount of buildings with the parts. Like legos, and only have 1 set of textures!

I'm curious has any mod made a RTS style game play? Is this even possible on this engine or is the standard Multi-Player choose your pilots and variants to drop in with hard coded? What I mean by RTS is mech/ vehicle building (mid game) and maybe a base to destroy that controls unit deployment?

might want to redo the shaded areas on those textures that were left over from where the reflex sight was attached. I think I have a new version somewhere that is grey and has no shadows.

Does the block placing have an auto geometry tool system? Like a drag to resize/shape box, cylinder, and sphere template? Maybe a triangle fill function too, for 3 connecting edges that meet at 3 points.

You can make a special impact effect for snow or ice particles. But youd also need to make new materials for all the hit detections.

Cool back ground too, but I'd try for a snowy boulder texture on those really steep parts. I think you should be able to pull it off with some of the default ones that are just converted to snowy versions.

Looks good. I don't know if you can make a cleaned up version after you replace those bad trees, but then if you can get one that doesn't crash editor try sending that to dnamro and asking for a navmesh. I think those olive trees were what was causing the crash for him.
Good luck. that sounds like a lot of work. I would definitely like to see some maps in a setting like you describe. You can use google earth and sketch up to grab real 3d terrain of some geographic locations you would like t have a battle on. imo tho grabbing a DEM and porting it with geocontrol is easier.

Well. That is not really a scope. It is an elongated red dot sight probably taken from the m4 or scar by the looks of it. If you want a scope and you are going to hack vanilla models why not use the QBZ88 or some other gun's scope?
I mean the g3 has the range, so it is deserving of a scope, but I'd stay away from deformed aim points.

Also A4's do not have a carrying handle that is part of the upper receiver, but have a detachable carrying handle that is usually indicated with 2 large tightening knobs that clamp the iron sights to the rail system.

Yes. Even red refracted tints don't look like that. These look like a red plastic lens. I think to get a realistic red tint you need to add more transparency and a darker red to the lens.

He doesn't take his hand off the pistol grip. The reason not only US infantrymen but any infantry that uses the m16/ m4 variants do this (can also be applied to other weapons) is because the second that bolt goes forward, it doesn't matter where your other hand is you can start firing. This is what all US Marines that go through proper CQB training are taught.

Nice model. I love the eotech, I just can't stand the suppressor. Why does every one insist on those things. They cut down on your muzzle velocity, and they don't silence, they just quiet your 5.56 NATO to about a 22LR. I think the game and movie industry use them because they are considered to look cool.
that model is just the same gun mirrored. so it looks kind of bad. what you need to do is get the gun model in the other hand with out mirroring it or else it will be really noticeable.

You can edit the maps with out the map editor, all you need is to open them up and edit them with any text editor. You will need the map editor to mess with geometries however.

Most likely you will be able to run the game, however you will have to set the rendering settings for the engine to rather low, and you might run into some slow areas with the effects, but maybe not.

Yeah. Unfortunately for a lot of TA fans sup com was no where near a TA2, and with the trade off of cavedog ownership to infrogames and then atari, the game is some what neglected for follow up of today technology.
when searching and assessing keep your gun at a low ready, or you'll get tunnel vision.
