You can make a 3d iron sight that uses the vanilla animations. just replace the 2d sights with 3d that are both centered the same. If you want I can make a demo for you to try out.
What are the current types of enemies that can be encountered, (I have only seen 2)? Do you plan on adding a boss? Also, could we name the marines when we start a new game?

I'm curious has any mod made a RTS style game play? Is this even possible on this engine or is the standard Multi-Player choose your pilots and variants to drop in with hard coded? What I mean by RTS is mech/ vehicle building (mid game) and maybe a base to destroy that controls unit deployment?
It looks like a friendly robot, not a soldier robot. Kind of cute, but definitely a good model.

I like the slightly darker one, but i think the contrast in some of those grey back ground should be a little more so they arent completely lost in the distance fog.

I would like to see single player/ coop support, but I know it's not the main effort of the mod.

-Ability to move the minimap, since it can get in the way of combat, and/or maybe make it semi transparent.
-More unit types? is Air units possible,little mechs/ infantry to drive over?

might want to redo the shaded areas on those textures that were left over from where the reflex sight was attached. I think I have a new version somewhere that is grey and has no shadows.
The back is supposed to be octagonal, just so you know.
Does the block placing have an auto geometry tool system? Like a drag to resize/shape box, cylinder, and sphere template? Maybe a triangle fill function too, for 3 connecting edges that meet at 3 points.
So there is a gravity effect for large massed objects?
