I am a developer for anything really, I can do anything, this includes, modelling, texturing, rigging, animating, mapping, sounds, music, and code. but i specialize in modelling, texturing, and rigging, probably because those are the most needed jobs ;) I have recently been' picking up coding, with some help from jukki, and I must say, I'm not half bad :)

anything's possible, but would it be the best usage of ram? probably not
I'm sure with a few animation tweaks we could use just one animation split into 2 parts, and cut out the chambering animations for a mid-mag reload

but even in cod waw, you could never actually chamber a round, so we decided against it ;)
(as in, colt has 8 in magazine, if you have 1 in the chamber when you reload, you'd have 9 shots to fire off, but cod waw says LOLNOPE ROUND DISAPPEARS)
so yeah, no non-chambering animations xD

I was scared to click on this game, to see what had become of it... to see what had become of it's fanbase...
I was ashamed for having left at such an inopportune moment in the life of this game.

but I clicked on it... and I was amazed...

Oh Derize... you know not how much I've wanted to post something, but I just couldn't find it fair within myself to fill the community with false hope.

Tom and I are currently attempting to get this game rolling again, mainly by attempting to rekindle Jukki's interest in it.

Our main wall/obstacle is porting NZP over to the new combinepsp engine, but as both Tom and I lack the engine programming background needed for such a feat, we're stuck.

What am I currently doing?

Fixing/improving small things in the qc, the qc logic code is practically done, few things still needing to be added are minor bugfixes, but the only major thing that needs to be addressed in the qc is 3rd person models, which we know how we're going to do it and it's simple, but we're banging our head against the main culprit.. the engine.

current problem with our current engine? basically the bounding boxes are broken, differing sizes between regular quake to hl map formats, meaning it kills cross compatibility, as well as in many maps zombies spawn in ground, unable to move... unable to die (excuse lame potc reference).

annnddddd we hope to FINALLY have working multiplayer, which has always been a bumpy thing for us, especially since we moved to fitzquake...

but as I said, the new things and much improved ai is practically done in qc... just the engine needs to be addressed.. along with the ever-present minor bugfixes...

granted, I vow that if we are successful in bringing back Jukki, and porting new engine (this is all looking likely btw, just waiting for Jukki to WAKE THE HELL UP BECAUSE OF TIME ZONE DIFFERENCES), I will post an update, and let you guys know the ball is rolling :)
