Outstanding. The new monsters feel like something that would've been introduced in an official expansion, the levels all have their own themes and flow very well. Hard, very very hard even for experienced Quakers on Nightmare. Combat kind of reminds me of Doom the way the arenas are designed for such large encounters and require constant movement.
Oh and the new creature specific gore and extra gore really goes well with DP's enhanced blood. Try deleting the start map once you are done with the mod to play through default Quake 1 with this stuff. It'd be cool to see a version of this mod that incorporates some of the new monsters and stuff into the default maps.
Will be trying to make ****** maps and rip from the released source for sure.
Great mod, has some glitches here and there but its integrated with CSRP and it's more stable than the vanilla game, and more fun.
Highly recommend it even for the gunplay and polished weapons alone.
