I'm a solo independent game developer and electronic music artist whose real name is Larry. Before I started developing games, I started using the name Blaze Epic for my solo music on Myspace and had made two EP's, an LP, and a few covers of songs from video game soundtracks before a regrettable phase of satirical rap songs. While I'm not fond enough of any of those to keep public, there are collaborations that I'm still fond of. I do try to play around with electronic music but since shifting my focus towards developing games, I carried the name over as an independent game developer.
An action/adventure game taking ques from both film-noir and samurai-drama's of old, "samurai_jazz" takes players on an adventure through an enigmatic city, engaging in realistic sword-fights, encounters with mythological beings, and quirky dialog with the local inhabitants all presented in a pseudo 8-bit format. While action remains the central focus, a bit of detective work and puzzle-solving is necessary along with the usage of twitch-reflexes while having to stop and think to effectively overcome each of the game's abstract scenarios.
