First;About Vietnam, the plot in-game will be, initially, based around the red-scare. This is in a typical world where people don't believe in zombies etc. and are spooked by nuclear war. This will play a role in-game affecting how NPC's act.(Not everyone's as intelligent as you all are)
Second;We will have custom models.
Third; The weapons list is not final and will be added to over time.
Finally; Thank you to everyone who shows interest.
It will be coop and if u want singleplayer, which is just coop mode in a LAN or passworded server by yourself.
We thought about that ourselves, we're going to try some things to work around it, one of our ideas was to put a very short view distance, surrounding you in a fog. This is also to add to the horror factor as you can hear zombies, but you can't see them coming from the distance. This will of course will only fix the client graphical lag. We're going to see if we can tweak the source code to involve local area loading, ie; sertain buildings will almost despawn if your far enough away. For the compiling and load issues, our current best way around this is persistent servers that will only reset as necessary.

I see Battlegrounds for Half-Life all over again... The high damage thing I dont think is right because guns were less powerful in the 1700's although, of course, it still hurt and probably disabled u in te same way. I feel that that factor ruins the Realism AND the Gameplay. Otherwise, I looked at the info section on the website, and I love it.
