Try using the 32bit executable instead
Pra usar cheats tem que estar em devmode
para fazer isso, vá na pasta do Crysis e encontre o arquivo BFMU.bat, com o botão direito, clique em editar
Você verá a linha:
Crysis.exe -mod BFMU
Crysis.exe -mod BFMU -devmode
Use o atalho no seu desktop e os cheats funcionarão, mas devo avisar que os botões F1....F12 irão ficar zoados ativando isso
Seu problema é parecido com esse?
(Olhe lá no fundo umas linhas)
Antes de carregar a fase, digite esses comandos no console:
r_texturesstreaming = 0
e_detail_materials_view_dist_z = 2048
e_detail_materials_view_dist_xy = 2048
veja se resolve seu problema
You're probably installing the mod in the wrong folder, make sure you install the mod in your Crysis 2 root folder:
Steam: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis 2"
Origin: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\Crysis 2"
Others: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Eletronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2"
You're running out of video memory, that's the price you have to pay in order to use texture packs with such high resolution textures and POM.
The limiting factor here are the associated mods, my mod by itself doesn't make the game heavier at all, it's just a TimeOfDay change and Sun Position. However, MaLDo's Textures have a significant performance cost, so if he said that you'll probably get choppy framerates, you'll probably have the same issue with my mod.
No, this mod only changes the original singleplayer campaign maps, but you can achieve the same look if you want, by downloading the source files at Crydev.net
I've made a very easy tutorial how to use them, even if you have no experience in the editor.
I have a few suggestions, but I don't know if it will work.
Go to C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\My Games and delete the folder "Crysis" an then go to the folder where Crysis was installed, open the Bin32 folder and create a shortcut for "Crysis.exe". Right click on the shortcut, go to Proprieties and make the "Target" field look like this:
"C:\....\Crysis.exe" -mod BFMU
After that, use this shortcut.
Good luck, I hope it works.
Open the console by pressing " and type:
r_Width 1920 [ENTER]
r_Height 1080 [ENTER]
r_FullScreen 1 [ENTER]
or press [ALT] + [ENTER]
You mean "Custom",right? This is not an issue. The settings only change to "Custom" if you use console commands to make changes. Since the Texture Pack doesn't add any in-game commands, it should be fine the way it is being shown.
But the texture pack isn't working at all? Have you tested in-game?
You you're looking for an alternative, there's the Chicken Texture Pack, it's a impressive texture pack, all HD resolution and mostly of them have POM. If you're going to use it, don't forget to add the command r_TexturesStreaming = 0 into your autoexec.cfg located in the BFMU foder, or type it in the console before you load a level.
You're confusing 32bit operational system with 32bit application. The memory limitation only exist if you were using a 32bit system, it has nothing to do with the 32bit executable. The game continues to recognize up to 192GB of RAM, if your system is 64bit. As I said, there is no difference between any executable you use 32bit and 64bit, with the exception that the executable 64bit may not work, as you saw. The problem you are having is completely unrelated to the executable.
In some systems, the 64bit exe doesn't work, even in 64bit systems. Since there is ZERO performance diference between the 32 and 64 bit exe, I've simply choosed the 32 bit exe to be the default one.But you can run the game with the 64bit exe if you want.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Eletronic Arts\Crysis\Mods\BFMU\Game
The High Resolution Foliage by Silent91 is a very interesting Texture Pack in my optinion, but if you want a huge Texture Pack there is the called Reygel Texture Mod wich has about 2GB of news textures, but I don't think that's necessary, Crysis 1 has a pretty decent ammount of HiRes textures by default, IMO.
Probably not. Every mod that uses a modified mission_mission0.xml file or a level.pak file overwrites all changes of my mod.
Yes, I think so.
Try deleting the game.cfg file in "Documents/My Games/Crysis2" and any autoexec.cfg in the game's folder and then start the game using the original shortcut and then load the mod in the main menu.
Thank you for your appreciation!
Most changes where made by editing the TOD settings, but I used flowgraphs and in-game commands in order to make the customization menu logic.
Here's a screenshot of the Flowgraph I used in all levels:
If you want to download it and the TODs, visit my crydev's thread:
Unfortunately you can't. The purpose of this mod is to achieve a beautiful lighting, but for this, I had to forgo some features of the original game, like the night and sunrises. If you change the time of day, the mod will probrably look awful.
Open the console by pressing " and type: cl_hud 1
The game starts normally when using the normal Crysis 2 shortcut or not?
Yes, pressing "L" two times. This level has 3 lighting config: Light Night, Dark Night and Day Time TOD wich is amazing btw, go try it out =)
Oh, so they released a new version, good to know it.
Unfortunately I'll have to wait an update of Quality Mod as well, because only the QM's author knows how to integrate the compound bow mod with his mod, when he does , then I can implement in mine.
Yeap, it has the last available version for download v2.0 (07.02.2013). I think I can realease an update when the new version comes out, maybe not immediately, but in the near future, I will.
To be honest, I never noticed if it is possible to change the draw weight using the compound bow mod, I think you'd better ask the mod's authors in the official thread at Crydev.net
They can answer you best.
Press "L" 4 times. It's the last lighting config.
This texture isn't included in this mod anymore, it's from the beta version. All textures now are from MaLDo HD v4.0, and his textures are perfectly aligned with the geometry.
It's in the description:
Note: Be aware this is a daytime only mod, keep this in mind before you use it.
The idea is to completly change the look of the game, so play the levels that was at night, at day, is intentional. You still have a night option in the level Harbor tough, but only in this level.
Yes, very likely.
Man, did you even read the description or the features of the mod? There's an option just for users like you who keeps complaining about the bloom, it's called Lite TOD, just press "L" 4 times and you'll see it.
And play the mod with the Shaders ad PostProcessing effects at VeryHigh or everything will look messy.
