Apologies for lack of updates. We are almost ready to release but we have one final bug that needs to be solved (it involves the engineers and artillery not being able to spawn all their items). Most of the maps for the initial release are done. Again, apologies for delays and promises of releasing earlier than this but problems do crop up.

Briefly we have had to use a slightly earlier version of the mod due to bugs as Dazzer has stated.

Basically, the pikemen would be massed in the centre with a block of musketeers on the left and right flanks.

A quick update. I recently did another article on the Steam page discussing the tactics used by the infantry during the English Civil War:

We hope to try and replicate this as much as possible in multiplayer battles. We have been talking about possibly doing a pre-release event using the Deluge mod to try and test the tactics and see how best we can use them in events. Nothing is certain yet but if you would like to take part in such an event then please post what company of foot or troop of horse (equivalent to a M&B NW Regiment) you would like to form here:

Hello again, yes we are still going. We have been having some problems with getting Commander Battle to work which have set us back a bit (basically Dazzer has been trying to add ensigns to commander battle units but alas e have had no success). I am sorry we have kept delaying release but problems do arise.
In the meantime I ill try and finish a few more maps, I should hopefully have Powick Bridge done soon. If you want to see a particular battlefield ma based on a certain battle from the English Civil War then please do say and I could see if I can give it a go.

They are both. As it was a Civil War both armies had similar structures. Here is an article I did on the subject on our Steam Group:

Most of the above flags are Royalist ones, the exceptions are the top flags to the left which are the London trayned bandes (red) and norfolks (green). The bottom six are Scottish and the three orange colours are of the Earl of Essex's Regiment.

Nothing much to report for the moment, we are sadly going to have to delay the mod by a few weeks till January at the earliest back from our Christmas release date due to our old animator being a bit swamped under. We are sorry for this but it does give us a little more time to polish a few things for the first release.
I will be redoing a few of the flags as well in the meantime.
