Yep, I really hated this texture, it looks like tile rock, and it looks wet. The original should've been one of the textures to leave alone
Be sure to play in Ultra-high quality.
My HD textures wouldn't show up unless the game is in ultra-high.
Anyway, I like it overall, but I'm really dissappointed with the new texture for the ground in hell, it sucks, and looks like wet rocks... though I can't find a source of water in Hell... but the rest of the textures are amazing

The launchers aren't doing anything, and the mod doesn't show up on the mods list...
Does the mod work if I put it all in a folder, the way a normal mod works?

I can play it by naming it the name of an existing map, but that's not very user-friendly.

Looks like you have to turn down your brightness... just a tad ;)
I love this mod, but the default settings are always overly-bright and overly shiny and everything looks wet. Still though, once the settings are adjusted this mod is beautiful! :D
You got only 4fps with this? So Doom3 will be unplayable with this? My PC runs Doom3 at 1280x1024 at ultra high and every option on, at 60fps, I hope this doesn't make me change to 800x600 without shadows or something... but it looks jaw-dropping!

I own Doom3, and I thought the source files would be used by the editor to add all the features of the engine.
I know about pk4's and stuff, I just want to know how to run the source code... there's no way to use the Doom3 editor for it? :( Do I really have to use c++ for it?

EPIC. This is the first actuall GOOD mod for improving Doom3. I am always sceptical about mods like this, but for once I am not, this looks absolutely beautiful! :D
It's nice, but the rock texture on the ground looks terrible as it is cut into the shape, makes it look like... a texture, lol, instead of rocks.
The light reflection is a tad high, looks like the floor was waxed. But the detail looks great

Lol yeah, it's just the angle, and his eyebrow will look angry in his animations, so he'll have the twisted evil grin in the game. Lol without the eyebrow he looks happy... he must know it's meal time.
