Hey Sikk, is there any way to disable the self shadowing?
Like some others, I personally dislike it, it looks blocky and I would rather not have to see it.
Can it be disabled through any simple console command?
Perfected Doom3 just uses Sikkmod for its enhances. But all the other junk it adds I simply don't like.
It's best to just use Sikkmod along with Wulfen texture pack (HD textures).
Yep, I love the colors. They bring back that classic Doom feeling, that feeling of action shooter instead of slow-paced corridor shooter.
If I were John Carmack I'd ask you guys to help with Doom4, just saying. You guys are fuzing Doom3 with classic Doom and it looks better than both, at least to me. AAA status work you're doing here.
Oh and even if Doom4 turns out great, I'm sure there will be PLENTY of areas of just gray and brown like Rage had, so I sure hope there will be a team like you guys, willing to add colored lighting and areas to help make the game look more tasteful :)
Reminds me of Prey2, the way they have a futuristic sci-fi look to their city with colorful lights everywhere.
I mean that in a good way, of course, this looks amazing and if I made a futuristic city it would also look somewhat like this :)

For my driver, there are 2 areas where you have to change enabled to disabled, not 1, so it works now. Thanks a ton for this fix.

Never mind I got it fixed, I can use this mod once again, great mod when combined with Wulfen's textures :)
Please help Sikk, I've got parallax maps going. However, the monsters are completely warped and look strange, their textures stretch and literally "warp" all over the place as they move, like they parallax effect simply doesn't work with them. Is there a way I can fix this?
I don't understand. We get these weird 30 00 number combos, where do I put in "0(String)"?
Same with Catalyst AI = 30 00 00 00 ... I don't wonna screw up my drivers?
I did this and nothing was fixed. Please help, anyone? When I opened the "Profiles.xml" my Catalyst AI already said "Disabled" but I still get the glitches that I used to get with it "Enabled" on my older card.
I have a white screen with HDR enabled, and special effects look like weird transparent warp holes. I have the latest ATI drivers and they don't even have an option for disabling Catalyst AI, what do I do?
When I edit the file that has the setting there, it already says "Disabled." What's going on? How can I fix this?

I am using a new style for the models, a "scary" and gruesome one. I will no longer make the models this cartoony.

I am totally digging this mod, I wish it were it's own .exe though, I'm not buying Half Life.
Isn't it possible to release as an .exe if everything is replaced with your own stuff?

Yep, I really hated this texture, it looks like tile rock, and it looks wet. The original should've been one of the textures to leave alone
The eyes won't make lights, they'll simply have a glow effect.
But yes we do plan to use dynamic lighting and realtime shadows in the game, or whatever the Unreal Engine let's us do.
The eyes will be yellow, and hopefully they'll glow in the dark :)
You're right, I forgot them claws! I'll add them as separate meshes.
At this stage I can really just add though, I can't remove some things without meaning a re-texture.
Keep in mind though, I'm not going for literal recreations, some things will be different.

I can play it by naming it the name of an existing map, but that's not very user-friendly.
Nevertheless, awesome map, looks amazing, I really felt like I was in the forest, good job there :)
