I am addicted to pizza, soda, and I love video games. Currently working on Stormbound :)
Yeah yeah I'm back. And yeah yeah, I know I know I've been a big huge jerk. Its been almost a year since I've done anything here BUT I must stress that I am NOT dead
Stormbound (the mod I have on here) has been through so many rewrites and changes that the initial idea isn't even the same as it was the last time I posted it
Yeah, I posted some goofy third person tests in the source engine, but I have to admit... the engine itself is getting a bit dated.
Third Person is a hassle, coding is a pain in the ass, animating isn't easy, and working with textures and shaders is a hassle
I've rewritten the game once more, but now its a space puzzle/thriller. I can't say that it is Stormbound, because its not. Its a new game that was created from elements of Stormbound.
I got no messages what so ever about people helping with animations. That is going to be the hardest part I think. I'm looking into some sort of home remedy to motion capture. Worst case scenario, I'll just record myself doing all of the actions and "trace" each frame with a 3d biped...
I have a full time job, I go to school full time, and I'm working on moving with my girlfriend. You can imagine how much free time I get to work on these games. Little to none.
Everything I listed is very important to me, so instead of me working on a game for a weekend and posting videos and screenshots, I'm going to wait until I get far into development.
I graduate soon, so I'll have more time to do it
Untitled Space Thriller running on the Unreal 3.0 engine.
You heard it here first
