I agree with Leon, there should be a mix of both of them, depending of the area, how old the building is, and the vegetation in the area.
The only problem I see is that the vegetation on the building is too symetrical, most of it is in the pillars and a little leaving the pillars, I think it should be more assymetrical, like it would be with nature.
Really good, but I think there should be a visual indicator when there is a game currently in progress (maybe make the button "save game" and "abort game" darker when there isn't one) and maybe be able to rename saves (just in case we end up making a lot of them).
You could not eat everything in the same day, it would last longer and be healthier.
When you used the wind element in the sand at 2:10 does the sand that got pushed just disappear? Because I didn't notice the sand level growing at the sides or behind it.

The effects look awesome, but I agree with vader333, use them with powerful weapons.

About the absorbing animation of the fire, I think the fire should be "sucked" by the player. I don't know about the hands, we can't see them very well from that point of view.

You know some people don't have the time to see all those updates, right? I think it would be better to divide those pics into small groups of 10 or so a day, and upload them gradually, so everyone could see them.
