Well that sucks. I gotta hit the sack, being an old man and all. I guess the sooner I fall asleep the sooner I shall wake and get to play. That's got to be a law of physics right? Maybe one of those laws written in fine print, one that nobody really takes notice of. Got to be...
Have been waiting all afternoon for this release! Looks brilliant. Congrats on the accomplishment.
Purchased through your site. I'm supposed to be building a house. Not paying games!
Love the launch trailer.
So are you the same devs who are making Insurgency 2?
Because I gather letting the 2000 people who track this mod know that you've got a kickstarter going would be a good idea. Don't be scared off by the rabid 'omg you can't be making a commercial product that just makes you evil' crowd.
Do you have anyone doing PR for you? Because if you do, they need a kick up the bum.
Good luck !!!
I'm pretty sure that was Arma's attempt at sarcasm. We all fail at making others laugh sometimes. No need to downvote here... move along.
Updated my drivers. Same error. I'll keep testing.
Getting error at launch.
Sound system error
alcOpenDevice failed - device 'Generic Software' could not be opened
Do you want to continue without sound?
Selecting No sends me to the game without sound when I was expecting it to terminate.
I like it so far. Transition of headlamp when switching to right or left facing character model is a bit annoying. Could be smoother. Good luck!
The hipsterism is strong in this one. Although the complete lack of a dull colour palette and cover system is baffling. Looks like fun!
All over this.
Had no idea you were redoing this. Brilliant.
Will test it out in the morning. Looks interesting. Lots of stuff going on. Did you see Souvenir? Souvenirgame.com (OMG no html formatting makes me sadface).
Only 50% more awesome? Amazing trailer. Please find a way to add your voice to the game (or at least make sure you keep up the dev blogs). It's hilarious. Also your daughter would totally make a craptonne of monies panhandling. New form of indie crowd-funding?
I have to get a smartphone one of these days. Everyone seems to be developing something for them. Also when I get drunk people never call me back. Sadface.
I tend to avoid browser/flash games so if there are many people like me then you would be increasing your audience and customer base. Whether you go with crowdfunding or pre-order I think a demo would come in handy (or at least video).
On the game itself I love the idea of a written clue (or misleading clue if you're thinking of adding something like that) and the artistic direction looks great from those few screenshots.
What difficulty are you playing on?
Whatever you choose just be sure you don't have all your sales gobbled up by merchant fees etc by setting your price point to low. Good luck.
BTTF vs SW 2012 FTW
Snob. EDIT: Reply fail to TruthKing. Congrats to all.
If you do go indie allow yourself more time for spit and polish. Epic firing range btw.
mmmmmm naked zombies!
I don't mind but what's with Tracey's waistline?
Love it. The walking in the first video looks a bit floaty though.
With standard comment technology your comment is flat and boring but because we are so awesome we made a comment converter that will make your comment a global news media event in and of itself. Tune in next year for the release of our comment converter converter that'll make your comment so outrageously popular and sexy you'll want to take it home and shag it.
I get the picture. Good luck with coder hunting.
The guy in red looks like Jim Cavievel.
Did you place the files in the HL2 or the Ep2 directory? If you use the Ep2 directory you wont be missing the floor and ceiling textures.
As for the performance at the beginning of the map we will have to wait for Mrksmt9 to optimise it when he returns.
The ModInformer interview played automatically when I opened this page. Is it possible to embed without that occurring?
Edit: I guess posting this comment counted as a refresh and it auto played again. I use Chrome and it tends auto refresh pages often so that kind of thing could get annoying.
I appreciate having ironsights. Although as TotalBiscuit said recently in a review of Dino D-Day not every FPS really needs them, but hey I guess it makes sense in a game called Firearms :p (in no way am I comparing these two games btw).
Also the website is great. Not usually a fan of sites with a dark contrast but your designers did a nice job.
Looking forward to 2.0
That was great. The dynamic NPCs took a lot of fire though. Can you make them switch to hostile earlier so that they appear to understand you're no longer trustworthy in a quicker timeframe?
