The majority of computers these days can take these car models without lag, even I was using a pretty old laptop to begin modding. The majority of the lag, apparently, is from the collisions, so keeping them at a low level works to be great.
I just hope they go the way Unreal and Crysis are going with their mod tools. Releasing the engine for public education
Ohhh sorry to say, gravity should be adjusted, and jump height higher instead of gravity reduced. Also, it seems crash takes a while to get up to speed, perhaps make his 'acceleration' higher and 'top speed' lower (lol)

A good side-effect of editing the hmmwv to have 1p hands came along, i could edit the collisions. So you can now knife the driver of the hmmwv if you go prone :P

The updated ironsights fix the hexagon-looking ones that bf2. Obviously, the bf2 model m16 ironsights are a 2d texture, and 3d ironsights weren't really meant for this, so that is why i fixed it up :P
The blue civ1 car is dynamic, so it can be moved around and destructable. The white "civ2" is drivable!

Yes, for graphics that's what we're aiming for. The high resolution textures Jones made are an example of this. Interesting idea about the HMMWV's

With the exception of making the force of C4/Grenades lower, there isn't much you can do as Jones said. Personally, I do enjoy seeing soldier fly above palm trees from being Grenade'd or C4'd. It certainly brings a lol aspect to the game, that most others don't have :)

Apart from 1p hands on vehicles, there isn't much to combine with PR. Besides this mod is meant to restore the features lost in bf2 displayed as shown in the promo alpha media. So yes, althought it may be realistic on the visual side, gameplay wise its quite fun a more arcade-styled mod.

Very cool idea there! I think in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Boss you actually chase him with a Jetpack, so racing against bosses is certainly something unheard of!

I did make a lightsaber ages ago, but i didn't place it on any of the maps. 2.0 didn't have the lightsaber so i have no idea how you got that :D

It's ok, this is just a test project and an intresting one as well. I think this mod should be labeled as "Non-Release" for obvious reasons.
Finally, this goes so well with the animation. Default M4 reload, so overused haha :)

Well, this mod has been, by the most of it, created by me. I have had Skull help out with a couple of animations and Shamrok, doing music and graphics. We have tried recruiting a number of times, but it seems bf2 modders are just to busy now.

I like "recycling" parts from other guns, but on this instance the only "fold-stock" i could find was from the AK74U, G36 and PP-19 Bizon. Each stock did not suit this gun and just didn't look right, so i just placed the MP5 knob thing at the back.

I think 7game should make the sights look similar to BC2's AUG.
I don't think zmoderler is good for bf2, gmax would be a better free version. I am using 3ds max and imported the bf2 scar l. No photoshop was needed for this one, no BF editor either. Just import, recreate the scope using more polygones on the cylinder. Then UVW mapped it to the original SCAR texture.

Well it is the magazine from the M4 Carbine, retextured to be white. If you look close enough you will see the reciver is actually a barrel :) Im going to hopefully animate it today and record a vid
