In the event that this TE lawsuit helps you get back to work on the mod, what do you think about taking this Moddb page down and quietly continue working on the mod?Possibly even under a different name (elvish for instance)

I imagine the TE could easily type "middle earth mods" in google and quickly find yours therefore putting your project in danger yet again (which would be pretty stupid lol).

Remember, TE sent a C&D letter to a LOTR Morrowind mod, so be careful. Without the help of public claims, do you still think you could finish this? Perhaps you could still hire people by starting a thread on Nexus for an "Extremely ambitious untitled mod" ?

If all goes wrong have you considered working on the mod under the radar until then? I am thinking they might not renew the licence immediately so wouldn't it be possible to release it within this time gap? Also, have you asked them whether you can work on it but only release it after their licence expires? I imagine you've already considered this possibility but I posted this just in case. Is there really no loophole in case all goes wrong?

So what do you guys think of the new levels in the BFG Edition? I thought the tech bases were quite the same as the ones in Doom 3. The hell levels on the other hand are very well done. Each area of the maps is substantially different to the last one. I even rode a boat!
