@Pvtbones: Most of the 'twinkling' is because of the video, but the stars will also twinkel a little in-game because every star is only 1 pixel.
@NzMM: No I havent played MoO but ive played a lot of other space games. The Elite games are our biggest inspiration.

It will be possible to find primitive alien life forms but no alien civilizations, the universe will be rich enough with humans only. At this point we are only concentrating on the most important parts of the game(ex: terrain engine), its to early to tell how animals will interact to the world.

The size of the planet is possible in real-life and everything is scaled as realistic as possible.
Keep in mind those things are still WIP and we still have to work atleast 2 years on Infinity.

With all respect but maybe you released the demo a little to fast. Ok I know its only a demo, but its still not a good idea to release a mod with only one map. Its a shame because the work you people have done is great and it has good gameplay, but playing the same map over and over again gets booring after some time. A lot of gamers who played Dystopia got bored and a lot of those players are not going to play Dystopia anymor. Releasing a demo and releasing the full-version months later doesnt have the same effect as only releasing a finished version with all the features and 10-15maps. Its a shame, but thats how gamers are.

I have to be honest and tell you that I was realy exited about Dystopia and I loved it for a couple of days, but now im not excited anymore and I dont know if Im going to download the full-version when its released. If you released it with 5-10 maps I would probably still play it.

When you decide to start a war you can send all your ships to the 'battlefield' to start a big war. You need a lot of time, money and skills to do something like this but it will be possible if you really want.

Yes infinity has a plot, but only the basic plot line has been released:

We are not planning to add player models to Infinity, walking in your ship and on planets will probably not be possible. Walking on a planet wouldnt be fun, the size of planets are be realistic so it would take hours to go from mountain to mounten, vehicles are faster and more fun.

Screenshots of ships, and other stuff will be released when they are ready. Making a game like this is a lot of work, first we want to finish the terrain engine. We still have to work atleast 2 years on infinity so please be patient.

The new screenshots you see in the gallery are from a random place on a random planet.

Yeah, wings are useless in space and shouldn't be on spaceships, they only have some use when you enter an atmosphere. We aim to make spaceship designs that not only look cool, but are also believable and functional for it's environment.

Retail has nothing to do with professional. Do you think all those indie games sold on Steam are made by professional studios?
Those are made by people during their free time an probably don't get paid during the development.
Most don't get rich from it and use the money to develop new games or to finance server costs and support.

Eventually, selling games is the dream of most modders and indie developers.

Our website is outdated, we are working on a new one. Check out our forums we have monthly updates n the progress of the game and lots of discussions about the game going on + you can take a look at the contributions people are making for the game. You can find a link to the Development Journal in the newspost.

We have released a lot of videos in the past and we plant to release other videos in the future. Not a lot of games show so much so early in the development.

No you can't 'walk' around in Infinity, its a space game not a walk game ;). Adding a walking feature would mean atleast an extra year of work for something that doesn't add anything to the gameplay of our game.
Infinity is very different than GTA.
