An aspiring game developer starting life as a humble modder, looking to build up a portfolio and break my way into the games industry.
Currently leading development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Wormwood.
Relevant to all three as it will add levels from both other games, and is a total conversion rather than simple mod for the game :)
That was fixed in an earlier patch, you just needed to start a new game :)
Things are going to be a little quiet for the next week or so - I have important exams I need to do, but afterwards the information will start really flowing :)
As explained in the ReadMe, the mod installs itself fine despite this error :)
Yeah, plus they aren't actually right next to each other - there is terrain in between the zones, as you can see on the main map.
The maps will be separate, as in SoC or CS.
With time, friend, with time!
I meant by the game-map, but the in-game skyboxes are known to be incorrect.
Thanks a lot for your kind words, it means a lot!
It will be its own mod, separate entirely from Redux.
That said, there's the potential for including Redux weapon configs as an option :)
The CoP levels are the Northern Zone, Cordon & Co are the Southern Zone.
Type 'demo_record 1' in the console, then use LMB for forward, WASD for up/left/down/right and shift/ctrl for slower and faster :)
Uhm, that is the CoP UI and graphics :S
I've only just managed to do this myself really, but I'll hopefully write it out eventually - thanks :)
Szabtom - Yes. It will probably be by default using Vanilla settings, but I may add the choice to play with Redux weaponry :)
AudioGhost - Think SoC, but in the CoP engine, basically. Cordon, Garbage, Agroprom etc etc.
Thanks :) I'm in the process of creating a total conversion for CoP using the levels from SoC and CS - these will never be in CoP: Redux :)
Read the Features list, upgrading is temporarily disabled to prevent massive unbalance :)
Some people might be interested in these pictures - see if you can recognise the location ;)
No problem! Happy to help, and I look forward to what you can do with it :)
Thanks a lot guys, very happy to help. I'm very close to getting a working SoC Cordon into CoP so when I do I may write a more complicated tutorial on how to accomplish that :P
It may be something to do with the fact that it's for Call of Pripyat, not Clear Sky :D
I've added a tutorial for setting up/using the new CoP SDK if anyone's interested :)
I see (also Gnomus scopes is not included in Redux).
Probably because v1.05a is a lot less buggy than people make out :P
If I can get it working as I need it to, Redux should be done quicker :)
Yeah I'm looking into it ;)
I'm afraid I'm not going to add new mutants, such as the cat or Izlom, etc.
If GSC thought they fit the Zone, they would have put them in themselves ;)
