Little info one can find in the forums.
- The HECU marines' voices are being replaced with the help of a new voice actor. (until that time, there is a mod to bring back the HL1 marine chats - its awesome)
- New AI is also added.

What safety measures you have against content lost ?(dev's pc blows up for example)
Thank you. As of December 5, 2013 it still works.
Does this mean OBM singleplayer wont come next year,
Nice page, and by creating it with a release plan on the next day (-->) I think you'll also set a record, hehe.
I played the latest version and it's awesome, with just a few issues remain to be adressed. This mod for Black Mesa is a necessity for everyone.
Well done!
....crowbar coming at them down a steel corridor...
I find it amusing how a lot of people don't know about crouch-jump (duck jump) while we're talking about the remake of Half-Life, which invented this feature.
- Is your operating system compatible with Black Mesa?
- Do you have enough space on your hard drive?
- Are you sure you've downloaded everything to install the game?
- If all of these things are right, I'd try downloading the game again, but from a different site.
Another team is alredy working on both the remake of Opposing Force (as Operation Black Mesa) and Blue Shift (as Guard Duty)
You can find those projects on moddb.com
C'mon why did you update this page?
I so enjoyed the constant trolling here.... wait trolls are still around, nvm than :)
To be a bit more serious, the new media is really awesome. And the simple truth is the release is closer than ever before.
I just wonder, that since you're united with the Guard Duty team, are you plan to release the two mods at the same time?
Yes, they are a completely different team.
Today I finished Opposing Force on hard level with 1hp... again.
While playing, and travelling through all the cool places, I couldn't help it, but kept thinking of Operation Black Mesa.
I can't wait revisit Shephard's tale with modern graphics. (and modern MI)
This looks really really awesome!
(((but the corridor at 0:52, would look better if it would be more narrow)))
Recently I beat this mod again, on hard difficulty, and I enjoyed it again.
- for me it seemed that the AI were somewhat improved since the last time I played with it.
- Was this an update to the mod, or it's Valve's doing for HL2 and it's expansions n mods?
Update again?
Man, you guys know how to treat us!
In the meantime, I am playing Opposing Force on hard level again. But this time with only 1 hp all along. It's kinda interesting this way (finished HL and BS alredy on 1hp)
I've alredy passed beyond the our beloved Black Mesa Dam.
A Decay remake? No way.....
... or yes way? Good luck guys! This is going to be so cool!
Someone in Black Mesa's youtube channel said you are dead. Suddenly I got worried and rushed here. But it seems I simply fell for that lie...
It seems you're well and alive, right?
Well, according to their wiki, the development was officially announced on January 1, 2005. But originally two separate groups began working on the a project which was aiming to serve justice to Half-Life after the crime of HL: Source's release.
As a matter of fact they're in development since 2004. As for your problem, the funny thing is that questions like these have been recently answered.
Let me mention a few facts: -all the weapon sounds have been redone sice. Their animations had been improved as well, same with lipsync.
(Don't) worry! They won't release until their game is complete!
They're pretty much in the finishing stages though, but there are still a few things they want to work on:
-The voice of Eli Vance for instance, voiceactors said they're not satisfied with it.... it's kinda hard making it faithful to Eli's HL2 voice.
What happened with that troll? Spiked, or whatever was his name? Was he banned finally?
In the meentime, I am checking Victoria Teunissen's webpage Catzeyes93.com (you know, she is the voice actor of the Black Mesa Transit Sytem and also the female black ops assassins. I found her really skilled, not to mention she is also kind.
