Okay, my comment sounded awfully like I was fishing for compliments :P
I meant that I´m no dedicated texture artist and I definitely prefer 3D modeling over fooling around in GIMP.

This game is going to be free, so there´s no real need for kickstarter campaign. And as far as I know, both Unreal and CryEngine have their limitations regarding an open-world setup (map sizes etc). But I´m just an humble ship modeller, so I hope one of the tech guys drops in and gives you a more precise answer :)

Don´t try to tank them.
I killed the 3 burers with 5 or 6 looted grenades. Try to get them when they come through the hole in the wall. And bring some hydro shock ammo, works wonders against the snorks and the controller.
The poltergeist can be sniped quite easily from distance. My trusty M4+ACOG scope killed it with 4 to 5 hits.
go to gamedate/meshes/actors/stalker_dolg/
and rename "stalker_dolg_2_sergent.ogf" to "stalker_dolg_2_sergant.ogf"
