Since I play hardly any comercial games I download much of the stuff I play. But when I buy something I actually want to have something for my money. So I would prefere boxed copies with a manual and so on. Sometimes manuals are even worth the full retail price but this ios rare these days.
"Unreal Engine 3.0" because it's gonna be OpenGL which can be run on ANY platform (not only Windows Vista).
Creativity is most important: A great gameplay without anything new is just a copy. Maps influence gameplay and atmosphere but they are only a part of it. The only things that are NOT any important at all are "Big Friggin Weapons", realism and a storyline. Small weapons, fictional and unrealistic mods and multiplayer mods (without a story) can be very good.
