And I do appreciate optional hud parts! I try to play with no hud now - it's something totally different! I turn it on only to loot the corpses and see if I bleed. Otherwise I look into inventory.
Panorama is great but somehow the stadium name got mirrored :) should be АВАНГАРД, but I can see only ДРАГ... from behind the tree :)

why do you mention 2005 as SoC to CoP? vanilla SoC was released in 2007 only. Or do you have info on 2005 PDA that is far better than 2007 PDA?

Those are nice comments about stashes! And real valid ones! AND I'm glad dezowave team educates us not to be greedy ;)
But why didn't the stashes have "dimensions" in vanilla? Was it too difficult to implement? If "stash dimensions value" would have been "true" in vanilla, then we would have to keep several stashes. But I would have had problems remembering where I've put what :) Then it's logical to ask why was it IMPOSSIBLE to leave marks on the map in your PDA same as NPC's do??? Only some mods added GPS beacons to leave marks on the map and some other mods allowed you to actually LEAVE a not on a map. But hey - map marking ability goes as far back as to DOOM 1!!!

Are you sure "contacts" were cut because of the crash and for no other reason? I thought it is to avoid knowing how many enemies are around...
In my opinion, "nothing to do" is impossible in the Zone. First of all, new mutants and NPC's get spawned and A-Life should make them interact with each other and the player in pretty interesting (unpredictable) manners. Also, the FAQ says there will be quests unavailable before finishing the story line. And I agree with the need for "totally random fights", especially the wild ones! >BD
what is PLR Weapon mod? is it something enabling players to modify characteristics of all weapons?
Sorry my being inattentive again :) But what did you, CrommCruac, meant by "no addons as blowouts"? Did you mean some additional visual features to blowouts besides the ones like color-changing sky and earthquakes?
no blowouts... guess this is the only subject not discussed or discussed insufficiently. It's not that it'll make a lot of difference, but I guess it is something everybody got used to.

The funny thing is that NOBODY has ever thought of making 2 IDENTICAL "Duty" emblems for duty members. Because they have it spelled properly on their right hand, but it is mirrored left to right on their left hand :)

Is it just me or there is a contradiction between the words of Killerangel and dezodor? Bullets and grenades mentioned by Killerangel are under question now :)
Unfortunately, grenades and bullets in vanilla do not change their trajectory when got into gravity-type anomaly. Would be great to actually see this implemented but it might involve some painstaking work on the game engine...
By the way, Razor_ua is right:
Cop.stalker-game.com - "cinema theater" word is spelled "кінотеатр", which is in Ukrainian and not "кинотеатр", which is Russian.
Cop.stalker-game.com - name of the store "Берізка" (birch tree) and not "Берёзка"
Similarly, we find Полісся hotel but not Полесье. AND it perfectly fits next to "Энергетик" (Russian) palace of culture, which is not "Енергетик" (Ukrainian).
It's not really so important but it should correspond to the actual area and actual writing, IMHO.
Can you give a link to make others see newer info? Newer than info as of January 12 given by our fellow xxx.xxx.xxx? Because your words are soothing and sweet but they would be all the more so if we see they are based on the info from people from GSC or those close to them.
