PC Gaming nerd and huge Half-Life fan
'Their myst burns'
I assume that says Myst for a reason
Space is the menu select key
I love you.
Some headsets have good bass output but nothing beats a real sub :)
5.1 kit for me. I sometimes use headphones for multiplayer because people's voices tend to have a lot of bass which sometimes sounds wierd
Not a modder, but I'd go with whatever engine with good mod tools that I know best. For me that's Source
Cracked versions should have some stupid game breaking bug to deter piracy, like the chicken thing in Crysis or the fake crash in Garry's Mod
That's one hell of a texture
If you go the the "Got a Question?" thread on the Black Mesa forums you'll see the devs are still very much alive.
Moddb is not the only place in the world for Black Mesa news
iPod Touch, that's not a phone though
Add some transparency and it could work pretty well, an in game color changer would be nice also
Agreed, Angry Birds can be fun but it's basically just one of those Crush the Castle-style flash games
Notch is a pretty cool guy. But I'm not too big on fame, I'll stick with myself.
When you pay you get no viruses
I'm not a modder myself, but if I was I'd use Source
CryEngine's got some nice shaders and all, but Source is modular, optimized, and it still looks good
Maybe the community can make a game that isn't absolute horeshit now
Yes! Maybe now the community can make a game that's actually good!
Okay, now I REALLY want this.
and good music choice by the way
Very detailed, and I love the lighting
Very nice beat
This is kind of diffucult to answer. Usually current means in the middle east somewhere, which is overused, but I don't like sci-fi weapons as much as current hardware. Post-apoc has gotten way too much exposure lately, and I'm not a huge fan of historic. I went with current, but if I could vote twice I'd say Sci-Fi as well
Never noticed this before
Yet another excuse to play this over again :)
Doesn't matter how much it costs, I'll buy it and play it because I loved the original
Now that I've tried Desura I actually like it, it's convinient for updates and such. I also like how the mod is coming along, the updates do nothing but improve it.
Lovin' the lighting
GIANT SAW THING
Because every game needs those
Lovin' the grass, nice detail
I only buy games I know are good, things like VALVe games. I wasted $60 on Modern Warfare 2 and I will never make the mistake of buying a game without reading a good review again.
Creeper shirt FTW
I like the idea of Steam for mods, it's just that I really don't want a client program installed that I'll probably only use for this one mod
Truly the most amazing thing ever created with any game engine.
Kudos x 100000000000
upside-down CMAG FTW
If this is Source, imagine if they got their hands on CryEngine 3...
This is SOURCE!?!?!?!?
WHAT THE FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I like it, it has a slight "goofy" mood to it
It would be awesome if you could make heat waves radiate from it :D
But Source can't do that :(
it would be cool if the glowing lines textures receeded into the center of the cube as time ran out
