Yo I'm bacon I'm 26 I like to play games, edit videos, photoshop. I was an ex Indie Dev, then an ex marketer for AstroBear Games and I am now an IT Tech for my own business.
Very awesome and happy I finally got to try this! One thing I was surprised not to see was Mona, Vlad, Winterson (I'd say Alfred and or Vinnie but their models were based from MP1) models from MP3. Was there any reason why you didn't include them?
Thank you :)
You have to put the mp2m file where Max Payne 2 is installed. Then when you open up Max Payne 2, you click on the drop down menu (down the bottom) and select Max Payne 2 - Pain to the max mod.
Guessing you haven't played many max payne 2 mods (or at the time?)
Cool, thats your opinion I can't argue against it :)
This was just a personal mod experience, i wanted to try change most things just to see what I was able to do. Sorry for the massive delay in replying.
Sorry for the very late reply...being a guest I'm guessing I'm wasting my time answering.. xD
Running the game, or loading last saved game?
I think it only exists by torrenting it, I don't think there is a "digital" version of it. Not at this point of time at least..
Meh, thats what reviews are for haha.
And looking back at it now, yeah look pretty bad from what I can do now (though not the best still either).
Thanks for accepting :D
Thanks for the invite, still enjoy and love this game to this day and age xD
Haha all good man, I rarely come on here anyways
Hey John :D
Nice man, looked really good. Never attempted to animate a gun as of yet.
I attempted years ago (I guess making a skin for GTA 3 is kinda modding) so in that case I was about 12 or so. But when I half knew a little bit more then I did then, I was about 19-20-21...Max Payne 2 Mod xD
Hey, never know they may even want to buy it or help fund it.
Might be closer to never happening, but its a nice thought and we can always dream :D
Awesome work, voted a yes on greenlight on steam.
Hope it makes it onto steam, and keep up the good work!
I Study at AIE myself (1st year) on the art side of things
Haha how so?
No problem, good to hear it now works :)
Ah I see, fair enough.
Thanks for the quick reply :)
Sorry for the double post, think my internet spazzed the page out T_T
Hey There I have a question, I realize I may be too late and you may not remember but I saw you made a demo level for Swat 4. I was just wanting to know just for a simple level (like say I want to get one of the already made maps, change a few textures here and there and give it a different title) would this be done as if making a mod or how would I go about to do this, just copy the level file and change the level name and such?
There was the finished version released...
I just tested it, you have to click on the underlined bit for it to start
Started off at CSS, not the best player but have always enjoyed it!
Started with Swat 3, loved Swat 3 got this when it was new loved it
Both have their flaws and such but in some parts I like Swat 3 more then Swat 4, then theres bits I like in swat 4 that Swat 3 never had
Running Vista/7? Its the OS
Forums.3drealms.com that fixes it
Hm this is very strange, I'm guessing you uninstalled Max Payne 2 and the mod and installed both again *just to be sure*. Ahh wait when you uninstalled the game, did you go and check where max payne 2 is located? Sometimes it wont fully remove all the files so what may of happened is:
You have taken it off but it still has some left over files from other mods, you have installed it in the same location (which is fine) but that doesnt get rid of the left overs that wasnt uninstalled/deleted. So just to be safe (annoying I know) Uninstall both the game and mod. Go to where Max Payne 2 is installed (if you got the 64bit version I can only assume it will be like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2") and delete the max payne 2 folder if it is still there. Then Reinstall both the game and mod and see what happens.
