Same problem; when I install the third release, the changes don't show, the desktop shortcut for the second release breaks, and there are no settings for HDTP in the game anymore when I run the original DeusEx.ini (via Kentie's launcher, since otherwise, the game won't do anything when I click DeusEx.exe). I'm running GOTY version on Windows 10, and when trying to use the shortcut created by release 2, I get a Window saying "This program can't run on your computer". If I uninstall release 2 first, I no longer have an exe to launch HDTP, and checking "create desktop item" during install does not create a desktop item; there is also no launch option in the folder it creates within the start menu. Only uninstall, and a website shortcut. So essentially, I have new textures and files that the game won't use. :( I was really looking forward to this release too.

I'm excited to see this one come to fruition. Looks like a refreshing change of pace from more of the same!

I do hope this will be released eventually??? #1 is sweet, but Hermann was the character retexture I was looking forward to the least. ;) I'm DYING to see JC and Paul, even if that's ALL.

I'd be happy with just another Demo of what they've got so far... After all the work they've done, they still only have one limited release excluding most of it. :(

I hope I can still get an answer to this...

I installed this on my Vista laptop over a year ago with no problems (and its awesome, btw). Then recently, I got a new Windows 7 laptop. After some troubleshooting with getting the correct resolution, a no CD patch, and Chronos to work at the same time, I found that most of the time, when I load my game, the music sounds fine, while the sound effects, voices, and background noise is real crackly and fuzzy... Unbearably so.

Any idea what might be the cause? Would you need to know my system specs in order to isolate the problem?

Thank you so much in advance!

I'm curious. The instructions included with the pack seem to be only for OpenGL (or whatever it was), and say nothing of what to do with the other files. I assume they go in the 'Textures' folder in my Deus Ex directory, overwriting the originals, but I'm new at this stuff and lord knows I'd rather make certain before I do anything... After all, I just got Deus Ex to work on my new Vista laptop after years of failures. >.<
Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
