Yo, any way to scale the galaxy map down to vanilla size? the sheer size of it makes playing on GC level a bit harder than it probably could be, even on the maps with few planets.

Sidenote, did you fix the Victory not ever hitting with it's port and starboard turbolasers? (so that i know whether i'll have to do it myself)

I think the ground Slave 1 uses the same model as the space version, just scaled up in size relative to the player's view. Since all the fighters are a bit smaller in RE including Slave 1, i reckon Jer's resize of the ship for space is the cause.
The mod breathes new life into EAW, but it sure ain't perfect. The following criticisms are from a Galactic Conquest mode standpoint:
The Gladiator has the same popcap cost as the Victory and Procursator Class.
I do not think that currently the Bellator is strong enough to justify a "only 1 allowed" rule.
Broadsides and Marauders are seriously overpowered, their missiles when use en-masse devastate everything, and the only way i've found to effectively deal with them is to jump a capital ship on top of them. I think increasing the time between their firing of the 3 missile burst by 2x or 3x would fix this.
TIE Interceptors are a bit strong, i understand that they would come out on top of X-Wings in canon, but i doubt they'd do it this well.
Bugs or Oversights:
The Bellator's hardpoints are all designated as [MISSING]
The Bellator adds a Death Star switch to the unit panel when in the battle.
The TIE Hunters have no description.
The Victory's turbolasers miss every shot (i'm pretty sure you know about this one).
The Quasar Fire generates Nebulon-B deathclone wreckage.
I know the mod is not finished, and what you've done so far is amazing (so detailed!) and i'd just like to point out a few things.
I hope to hear some feedback about your opinion on the balancing of the mod and certain units.

Only valid comments i've seen in the past pages are the save corruption bug and praise.
@Jeroenimo ever seen this save bug? GC saves load fine till i restart my computer, but after that, they crash the game.

Acclamator is outdated junk, and shouldn't be in EaW, the Gladiator replaces it. The Victory I is in the game at tier 2, original EaW had the Victory II, which is a bit boring in comparison.
Yeah, i can't load saves, no apparent reason (GoG version, 4GB patch used, minor XML edits, but had the problem before those).
There are two maps, but they are structurally the same, Jeronimo ain't much of a map guy, although he may do more.
The planets are all round the edges in preview because the map is much larger than normal.

Hello good sir, your work is awesome! just one question: is there a way i can get rid of the corruption smoke effect in GC leaving just the yellow lines? it's hella ugly when all core imp worlds get corrupted, and it's dropped my GC framerate and simspeed down to levels i've never seen.
I've seen other mods do it (Absolute Corruption i think), and i'm hoping you can tell me a way to do it with lowish hassle for both of us :D

As i understand it, once you get to the Infinity stage, you can bring capitol ships back in to the shipyard to be given shields, and new ones built will have them too.
They moved the Reactor to a safe position inside the ship's hull, rather than bulging out.
The bulge from the reactor is the usual reason Star Destroyers are destroyed

it's because it's an old game, all the AI pathing causes a bit of an overload for your processor, considering its age, it can't take advantage of many cores so no matter how stronk your CPU is it may not be enough. if you want to dabble in large battles, you're going to have to use humans i'm afraid.

I noticed the Thermopylae Class that the "Infinity" ate had shields too, is that why it didn't get instagibbed?
Hardlight is Forerunner tech, thats why the ingame model for the armour ability is made of Forerunner metal.
Why am i the only one who pays attention?
Mind you, the "Infinity" uses Forerunner tech like the engines.
I'm not sure hardlight is used as ship grade shielding, and if it is then it can't be that good as "Infinity" would have punched through it to make the "hole" in the "Mantle's Approach" for chief, although considering the "Infinity" has what is essentially a double barreled "Big Stick" MAC i'm not surprised if that was the case.
Also the "Super Carrier" is (MUCH) bigger than "Infinity"
nope, go watch spartan ops, where it rams a ship and it's shield's pulse yellow. All UNSC shield tech is yellow, and in what few examples of it exist it is superior in strength to covenant shields of the same power requirements and size of generator.
sorry to ask this, i'm sure that had a lot of work put into it, but is that the full resolution texture for the Infinity? it feels...lacking compared to what i expected.
