10 out of 10. Black Mesa Source excels in all aspects. The gameplay, the atmosphere, the mapping, the models, the animations, the mechanics. A top quality mod of AAA standard.
I really really liked it.
However, it was very easy to get lost in the cave area- pretty much everything looked the same. It also probably would have been nicer if the caves were a little more detailed (more brushes).
Apart from that, everything was pretty awesome. I loved the custom boss fight, with the classic final boss scene. Really cool. The voice acting was really good too, definitely had some cool ideas. I've only gotten ending 1 so far, so I'll be sure to play again!
