Use quality maps, turn the graphics up, use QUALITY models, whenever you can, use some lightning and super dof, PUT EFFORT in your posing, look at other's posings to learn new things such as postures and styles.
ALWAYS use no collide while posing a gun, ALWAYS use finger posing and use face posing whenever you can.
