Thanks for the feedback G.A.R.
You are correct about there being only 12 collectibles in the speedrun clip, but in the game there is one more making it 13, you have to back track after you pick up the RAYGUN... it's hidden... (and yes the bonus level is the prototype level made earlier this year)
This version certainly has more meshes and textures on screen...our team developed this mod on average specification laptops, and have had no lag problems...you could try lowing resolution and turn off dynamic shadows and motion blur etc.
Thanks for the feedback though (we 'll try test it out on a few different systems). Hope you get it running smooth enough to play.
I'll put up some screenshots of new platform Staticmeshes and what-not I've been working on all week...I'll do that tomorrow
Glad you liked it, we hope to make it more satisfying :-)
At the moment Bailter Ray is only a sand box prototype level, we have plans for two more levels and are adding power ups, collectable items, a new robot enemy and lots of new environmental staticmeshes. Bailter Ray is a work in progress we have small team but expect two more levels by late September.
Bailter Ray has not been tested with a azerty keyboard layout. You could try switching keyboard settings or bind them to your preferred configuration (custom bindings have not been tested either and may not work. You could use a game pad controller.
We will look at a fix for any upcoming versions.
I believe it is compatible with the steam version. Should be compatible UT3 version 2.0
It's a sandbox, we think it's fun to play (not to watch), it's just the beginning. Simple gameplay can often be more enjoyable and appeal to a wider audience.
The scope for the project suited developing a gun and run style game(short development time).
Thanks for the good luck rahx
