Where is the 24 hour clock...?
Sooo... 4K? :P
The barracks, along with a few other structures, seriously need some redesigning as well though.
So will the vehicles fire off giant bursts of blue and red fire in all directions now? :P
Renegade was never lore-accurate. Nod didnt have the technology to use portable versions of their Obelisk, especialy not in a hand-held format.
So whats this, a new unit or a replacement for the shadow team?
I defenitely do not mind cosmetic improvements. The mammoth MKII looked like that due to resolution limitations and so forth.
Looking very good. Which CryEninge was it again?
Flak tracks as an example. Or different engineer mechanics. GDI turrets. Small things here and there, not a big deal, but still.
By what, more precisely?
Doesnt quite work as smooth as OpenRA though.
I think what you are doing is really cool. However, I must say that a lot of the things you change does not fit into the canon of C&C, which is something that bothers me and friend who has started playing this, quite a bit.
The ability to play it 100% like vanilla wouldnt be out of order.
Pretty shiny, yes. But I do think the Tiberium is too small. Or rather, it should come in many sizes. An example of much larger Tiberium: Upload.wikimedia.org
Thats really cool! I wouldnt ever have guessed. They all sound like they could be taken out of some major RTS game!
Where DID the ECA voices come from anyways?
I must actually say that I really enjoyed Minecraft, up to but not including the beta-patch 1.8 which implemented all the RPG elements. I prefered it to be very simple and let the players stand for all the creativity.
They could always port to a certain new Renegade-engine... ;)
Damage seems to be way too much. Nice idea though. But I dont really see the point of giving extra damage to the tracks. General higher hit-on-side damage would make more sense.
... Though in the civilized world we write things in order, day, month year :P
EA doesnt even know what a Mutant looks like.
I fully agree. Especialy after playing C&C Renegade X, the old W3D-engine feels extremely awkward.
Yeah, I figured both after a little bit
There is no way to join a server, as the "Join Server" button is greyed out, even after downloading and installing Reborn.
Also, there is no way to change the resolution by the looks of it.
"2006 has finally ARRIVED."? I was pretty sure this was 2013...
What does the CNC change with the Fire and Chem effects?
It ends a bit too suddenly. It should slowly quiet down to silence, not just cut.
Pretty cool with the DTs and SAPCs. However, Im still turned off by the stone age-old engine you use.
If you are going to have Spartan-IIs, atleast have those from the real original canon. John, Linda, Kelly, Fred, Kurt etc.
If you want Spartan IIIs, they cannot be super-soldier like, they were trained and created as expendable elite soldiers, but not even close to the same calibre of the Spartan IIs. And these should preferably have no production limit or specific names (Due to the sheer number of them). Halo Reach has taught the fans so much stupid nonsense...
As for the Warthogs, it is difficult to bring such a multi-purpose platform unit into the game. Either you could have a buildable version of each, which might not look the absolute best with 3 different versions of the same unit in the build-tab, however it is a better solution than having to upgrade each individual unit by itself (Too much micromanagement).
Is anyone here good at Windows-theme/UI creation? Might have a job for you!
It doesnt matter if its realistic or not (Unless its a game like ARMA...), its more about being authentic enough.
Is it just me or is that screenshot really grainy?
