Where is the 24 hour clock...?
Oh yes. I loved the Ghosts of Onyx! The first 4 books are awesome, as they are a continiung set of events and belongs together. As for the other two, Contact Harvest is alright (But with some minor flaws, such as humans didnt find out about the Brutes until the battle aboard the Unyeilding Heirophant/Uneven Elephant :P) but The Cole Protocol is just innaccurate.
Yes. Since just around the release of the first Halo there's been books around. Books which now Microsoft and 343 is doing their best to over-write to sell more games it seems.
I just dumped all things Halo after Reach. It contraditced major parts of The Fall of Reach, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx.
Bungie didnt seem to care for their own canon, as they were ditching Microsoft anyways. 343 Studios has not been any better.
Haha, get you going on Halo 4 lore? Sounds like me with people getting me going on Halo Reach's supposed lore!
Or the Russians could just learn to speak English, just like everyone else. :P
I am aware about the CE3 liscences. That doesnt mean the dev team could make an entire full game about it, and sell it!
That is an awesome sounding idea! I wonder though, as it is a standalone now, will you charge for any part of the game?
This makes no sense. The preview image is there for a reason.
"...and RA/D2K external (C&C" Why?
Oh, thats very cool!
The Ant-missions are a hint of what comes after the Allied victory over the USSR, aka, the commandeering of Soviet-blueprints and the forming of the more permanent alliance, the Global Defence Initiative. The Soviet and Nod campaigns are non-canon in Red Alert, Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun. Red Alert 2 was never meant to have been created, but EA insisted on this due to the success of Red Alert 1. Red Alert 2 is simply an alternative universe which also builds uppon the Allied victory of the previous war.
Because the scaling of things were way off in Tiberian Sun. In 3D engines it looks way different.
Precisely! This actually makes sense (Game-sense, guys) instead of the style EA has been pushing for all C&C-like (I still dont consider Generals a C&C, just a good RTS), aka, giant robots, lasers and alien invasions.
This is truely the only "Generals 2" I know of!
Interesting. I was actually looking for how to make an RTS style game in the UDK earlier. Very interesting, and I hope you'll succeed with it!
Dont stop updating ModDB just because you have a website though. Much more simple to keep a track of things this way!
While open source is awesome, I really do hate it when everyone assumes that because you like it, you are a coder.
Some are (Or was) really good, such as Tribes Ascend, which was very resonable with how much time it took to unlock stuff without paying for it, and especially their generous offer with buying a permanent XP boost which you got by buying any anmount of 'gold'.
PlanetSide 2 is a great game, but it takes SO long to get anywhere, and their prices are absolutely over the top nuts.
And then we have games like World of Tanks where the developers are a bunch of incompetent nitheads who don't care for the players one bit and have a game which is just full of PTW (Pay To Win).
I like the fact you made it slightly resemble the railgun tech out of Tiberian Sun.
That took stupidly long time, thanks to Camtasia being a herpderp. Uploading tonight!
Uh, Renegade perhaps?
Rendering the very last part of the TE-campaign playthrough right now :D
Excellent looking, Carnius. Just what I had in mind!
No link to this 'Time machine'?
The description is true, but only if you follow EA's C&C lore :P
While that would have been a nice idea, I know absolutely nothing about how to use the world editor for C&C3!
