Dance your cares away.
So, I'm not clear...the game will create an entity from past actions to complete the puzzle with you? Isn't that a little difficult without the source code?
There's a mound of debris that's floating off the ground and clipping a car. But beyond that, I don't see much that's wrong. Good work.
I know this discussion's basically over, but I just thought I'd add in I like the idea of having an older woman in the game. You never see a zombie game/mod add a character like that. It would help make this mod more unique.
After The Whisper.
Stalk, you're win. lol
Also, you should probably remake DR.
No, Ian is. And he's here, so NYEAH.
Well, I'm a furry, so I might as well join. People know of it, so I don't care.
Full version isn't even done yet. This is a demo. Like a tech demo.
Dare I answer?
Like everything else of this guy's, it's probably stolen from somewhere. Just like his maps from Orion and Garry's Mod.
I'm not so certain, Bloodraven.
One thing I'm not understanding is why you need to take the villains from the F.E.A.R series and implant them here. Aside from that, the mod seems like a novel idea.
I might go back and rewrite it then to make it a bit clearer if that's the case.
You're not giving any constructive criticism or anything of that sort, just saying the mod is bad. Like how you said "the models are bad," how would you think of improving them? "Very glitchy." Then what can we do to help fix it?
No. Nothing. Just our hard work is not good. I'm all for criticism, but if it helps a mod improve or helps fix something that's wrong. This comment you made that I'm responding to simply states that you don't like the mod and you have no ideas to what patches we can make to fix your complaints.
Good day sir.
One more mod that now has to compete with Opposing Force II.
I've been OK. Busy as hell.
The textures will be replaced, don't worry.
Quick word of advice for you: build your skills in mapping before attempting a mod. Most new mappers try to build a mod first thing and it doesn't work well.
You're not in the US, though...
Oh God Futashy.
If you still have spots open, I would like to help you beta test. If you need to see previous testing jobs, I can gladly send them over.
Liking the look of this map in particular.
Don't give up just because of Dear Esther's indie draw. Most people are getting incensed by the price and length of gameplay. Keep this up and you'll do a lot better.
I can see use of that right now.
ModDB's still authorizing the download. Don't panic.
I'm just going to note that could add to the character of the mod. Not everyone needs to be 30 and fit to survive a zombie apocalypse, theoretically.
So true. lol
Nice best pony avatar.
Thanks for the mention. Means a lot.
Leave it to you Ben. :P
It was "mainstream" because it was easy to identify among the other barrels.
Looking quite good. It's definitely got an art-style that suits the mod.
Is there something with the H&K's texture? It looks like a solid grey mass. Or is it just the angle? Not sure.
I think he means the Mounted Gauss cannon.
40s Aperture would be more appropriate.
This question should not be taken as belittling at all. I'm wondering, with the Controllable Manhack, did you code that yourself, or are you using the Human Error code?
Well, if you were ever interested in a second opinion, I've always viewed Candymane as G-Pony. She's always there whenever Twilight Sparkle is doing something important, looking with the same blank expression on her face.
Your face looks nothing alike.
We are innovating the main game too. Just we're also making zombies for fun. I'm wondering what's wrong with that.
No, he's not. Currently, the Three-Dog and Mr. New Vegas radio voices are placeholders for the final product. We are currently writing scripts for the radio DJs to say, and also are in the process of finding period-specific radio ads. Once those are all assembled, slowly, Three-Dog and Mr. New Vegas will leave our betas.
Well, she did launch Dash off a seesaw...
Ironically, this might be amongst the last remnants of the co-op project.
Still better than my options. Slight room echo, or $25/hr. :P
Now you have. ;)
Even in a horror mod textures can look good.
It's honestly quite hard to read.
I'll give it a go. I've done tons of beta-testing in the past with Human Error, Human Error Co-op, Half-Life: Precursor, Half-Life 2: Retaliation, and Back-Stock, to name a few.
Says the man with a Pinkie Pie waifu.
Change it to the lighter colored stripes on their shoulders near their necks. Though I'm not sure if that's just a lighting thing.
If you want, I can probably come on and help with the story while providing some voice acting.
Dislike, dislike, dislike. No Pepsi shall be in this game. Either that, or we shall loose our Coca-Cola sponsorship. XD
Ironically now, we're all bronies, aside from Gamerman12 and Skyu.
The only thing I have to say is maybe add some grime to the armor pieces. They look a bit clean for what's gone on.
It's a red warning light.
I won't call you amateurs, but I will say what you are asking for is nearly impossible unless you have a superb connection, a superb server, and a superb processing power. You might want to scale back for practicality.
Is it stealing Derpy Hooves' muffins?
Or you can also try Norwegian's style. Their colors are a bit more blue, which might present a more soothing area for the action to take place in, which would feel a little ironic. Also, it would probably be easier to map, as their architecture isn't overly lavish.
We're slowly working on it. Mainly it's because a lot of guys are in uni projects.
The label texture's on backwards, I just noticed. lol
You said yourself you did. Just give up. You're done.
That's not good, you know.
If you don't, censor it, mofo. :P
Question is how much of Empire at War itself is canon?
Ah, good to be working on SF again.
Smooth out the metal support struts.
We now have a rough idea of the gameplay and some of the background.
Also from my end and the lists I've got, we've got "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin in there. I also put a suggestion in for "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi.
I also thought we were doing The Doors "People Are Strange."
So you did take me advice. :P
Do that, because there's a number of glaring misaligns.
Ahaha I laugh at you Pawnstick. I expose what you're trying to do, just draw any attention to yourself that you can, and you delete my comment. I applaud both you for allowing me to expose your true intentions and myself for exposing your intentions.
People, just stop commenting and he'll stop making this game. He's doing it because he's getting your comments. He wants the attention. If you rob him of the attention, you rob him of his only goal.
Then what of the LA Vault?
The arms need to look more rigid. Definitely.
Well, honestly, even for single-person work, this is a bit out there. The first thing I can tell you is to properly align textures. The wall in the back of the G-Man shot is so completely off that it's not even funny. Also, on your bathroom stall shot, even though you're using the completely wrong texture to begin with [wrapping on the green locker from HL2 texture], it's completely misaligned by using the upper-left of the wrap.
Also, let me introduce you to a little friend called "No Draw." On the window on the G-Man image you made, you need to no-draw the back of the transparent brush, since right now you've made it look like somebody put a big slab of glass there.
Beyond that, there's nothing I can help you with. Just redo everything with a different mapper, if you can get one.
You sure you're one step ahead?
EDIT: You're a cheater, Dec. :P
Go with something from canon. You'll be a ton better off.
Probably stolen just like his other content.
Alright, if you so claim it's "coedd in mod," go and tell us exactly what you did in order to do it, in your own words.
Go ahead. Keep deleting. It won't change any fact.
Several mislaid textures on grass and road surface.
I wonder if John is afraid of clowns after this.
I would appreciate if you did NOT use my name in this mod.
Look at the original to see Neph's notes clearer.
This was before you were taken on, cahemdue.
Great use of Black Mesa models. I envy your ability.
I'm not saying fill it with trash. I'm saying add some props. Right now it just feels like a sterile road.
I still see even in the updated versions that it's a bit too clean. Add some static props like dumpsters and some trash on the ground. Right now it looks like nothing ever happened there.
Looks promising, but if you want my opinion, you will definitely need to make the road collapse a lot less clean-cut and possibly open the area up a bit. But for early WIP, it's looking OK.
Let me speak for AnubisGuard when I say this: this appears to take a serious look at a different aspect on the Half-Life universe from a Citizen's perspective. What would sex in a bush serve aside from satisfying a bunch of absent-minded people who can't see the goal of the mod?
Best soundtrack I ever heard. Such a good tone.
You need to smooth out everything a lot.
Go Anders! :P
No, if you mean the blue one, that's me. You're the normal one.
Friggin' sexy, Dave. Love it.
Can't agree with you more. John's voice simply removes the player from the character.
You don't know who I am? It's Ian from Project Kursed.
I'm agreeing with Dec here. What exactly is this? Your "progress" is an untextured gun which the only change appears to be a left-hand instead of a right-hand, a green RPG launcher, headcrab zombies overlit on one half of their face, producing an ugly glare on the NPC, and a basic rip of Lost Coast's menu with only a few new words on it.
I'm sorry, but you've really either got to step it up or quit.
Because Miyu's a she?
There are garbage bags out of the shot on the other side of the street.
Yes, I'm hacking. XD
God I love that. Mah voice. XD
