That's pretty much how I learned to back all my stuff up.
The HD model looks like he's a bit 'special'. It's hilarious but awesome.
Now that looks great!
This has to be the closest anyone will get to that RTB sketch. You guys have done an outstanding job recreating the scenery.
I know I am!
He looks like Christian Bale ! durr
I just played it for the first time and I'm thrilled! The level of action is astounding and quite frantic already in the first mission. I'm very impressed.
Oh and Finnish milk cartons! :P
If not, I bet it'll still be MOTY in 2014.
Super annoying music, but the game looks awesome!
This is just the place to have a gore-fest tournament ^^
Could this be THE first-ever 3D render of Skitch? The concept was scrapped early on so I'd dare say that Valve didn't create one.
Do games like Cry Of Fear and Slender count has F2P?
But I'd like to see some more weapons rather influenced by Quake than directly ported/copied. Check out the game Bloodcrusher 2 on moddb, they're taking the Quake/Unreal weaponry to a whole new territory.
As a means of encouraging, I'd definitely like to see this game stretched to its full potential.
Excited to see how this turns out, as I'm a die-hard fan of the oldschool shooters.
If I wasn't looking forward to this game, I'd feel pretty damn stupid. Love each of these designs!
I have a bunch of stories and concepts in the brewing, which to be honest would be a waste not to use for mods/games. Ever since I was a kid I'd dream of being a developer but right now I'm way too busy to learn as fluently as I'd like. I'm a VERY late bloomer in this sense.
As for going commercial, I have my hopes but also very realistic fears.
Thoroughly amazing is what this is. I love that level of detail.
The background story is a bit similar with Spyra, otherwise very promising.
The game is good practice.. But with all due respect, horror needs more than consecutive jump-scares.
Is this a custom-made model or an FPSC default?
I hope that's legit info. It's kind of saddening that Neil Manke just "disappeared". No new interviews, no new photos..
All is well if the man is still making games ^^
I have no doubts on that. A custom-made HL engine and automatic updates via Steam does sound like a deal-sealer. ^^
Valve did a very generous thing at the time when they buried WON and released Steam. If you happened to own Half-Life before the switch, you were automatically granted every expansion pack (Opposing Force, Blue Shift, commercial versions of Counter-Strike & Day Of Defeat).
So it's safe to assume, they kind of gave up profiting from GoldSrc-based games probably because of the future with Steam and Source-based games.
This looks awesome. Creepy as hell!
It looks more like a really short M4 because of the rails & the magazine. The mag especially seems to be loaded with 5.56 cartridges, whereas the MP5 is actually loaded with 9mm cartridges.
That's definitely a result of good work, nevertheless.
I believe that's their intention ^^
Oh now I'm aching to play this!
