Well that's the same with any controller really (it's a generalization). I could do the same with an Xbox controller.
The difference is it brings all of your favorite PC games to the TV without having to buy a console along with easy access to the internet while keeping all of your stats, friends, etc.
It's Valve's move into the console realm while still keeping their PC app, Steam, going. Very smart move.
