but I will say more. i'm impressed with you guys, you made what appeared to be at first the common "play hl2 co-op with buddies game" but then went on to give it something more, something unique. In this case a huge amount of player models and a selection of excellently made teamwork based maps.
I look forward to playing this new version.

Or, possibly he is just wearing a thick jacket, and his mask has a thick insulating neck, both of which are quite possible and very likely if he is in a cold environment.

Nice arms... but i've never particularly liked bare hands.
While they are well done, they always appear kinda bland on screen.
Some generic sleeves help a little, or some gloves (like counterstrike)

I remember playing a LOTR game that had barely visible burrow weights watching you in the distance, always in places you couldn't reach, just out of sight. It was very creepy.

My only hesitation with this game is the lack of combat.
While I know that was most likely intentional, it lowers the immersion for people like me. I have a natural sense to fight. If something came at me, my first reaction would be to find a way to fight whatever it is. Even if its only something improvised, like a wooden plank, I would fight. Or at least try.
Now, if say there was a "fake" combat system that allowed you to try to fight, but inevitably fail, that would be better in my opinion, for then it says "you can't fight this" instead of "we won't let you fight this"

the only thing wrong that I could see 9and I mean only, the rest was awesome) was the sound used for the footsteps was pretty horrid, sounded like default hl2.

Yeah, I guess... but as a History nut this screams "wrong" on so many levels. If you are going fore demon-angels (never mind how impossible that idea is) then you may wish to do something a little more complex or unique.
Right now they look very medieval in period (not stone age) and bring to mind Church influence of said period.
Just my opinion, but I think the statues could do with a design overhaul.

Cell shading rocks, i'm glad your going that direction. Small stuff like that makes games like this look as shiny as new games.
Take Tron 2.0 for instance, looked crappy, but they added glow/bloom effects that played off the neon world and made the game look amazing.

Woah, looking back over that comment, I think I wish to add that this isn't a fanboy gush, I'm just honestly impressed with your work and praising it accordingly.
(and a correction, I said "mod" in the alast comment and meant to say "game")
Looking over it again (lol, I check this mod almost everyday.)... i'm impressed with the mag.
many people just glaze over it, being a simple piece, but I find the detail you place on the mag alone really increases the quality of the work.
mostly it seems like attention to the little things is what makes this shine. Small stuff that most overlook, like the grooves on various parts, the release button for the mag, extra work on the bolts and things of the like.
honestly, the first three things I thought when I first saw this were:
"Wow, looks real."
"Wow, looks heavy."
"hey... that handle looks like it'd be comfortable to hold."
And I can't help but imagine it in action when I look at it.
As i've said before, great work, this has to be the highest quality and best looking games i've seen arise from the release of UDK.
I'll be free to cut through that underbrush, right?
Looks awesome, I can see bits of different guns i've seen before, but ultimately this captures the classic feel of some classic weapons while still going and looking advanced and futuristic.

i also think that you could at least be decent enough to not trash a mod on it's own site. and what is this about "city 17 again" when the mod takes place in city 14.
and so what about the art of the main character? i personally could care less, as you never really see yourself, and i also think it looks good. the suit just appears more updated and is not a 'blob' and i don't think it looks that much like a helghast, but i also think i tis stupid if you are gonna cry anytime a mod has a character that looks like something from another game, because it happens, and what is more, the helghasts just look like some WWII germans, and since WWII serves as an inspiration to alot of mod/games, i think it is stupid to act like they are ripping content from a game.
an what annoys me more is that i see people giving these negative comments a thumbs up. if it was constructive, thumb away. but this stuff is just plain petty and just whining from someone who could never do that same most likely.

just out of curiosity, how often is there people on? because when i got on this morning there were no games/servers running, and i really was hoping to play with someone else, not alone.
the problem is easily solved, just get ingame and open the settings option, make sure you are ingame and not in the main menu, the main menu doesn't save options. then go to input, and click the "keys" tab on the bottom, then scroll all the way down and you'll see that "give ammo" "reload" and "flashlight" are not bound, bind them to whatever keys you want, then it will work.
also, the button issue is from the old version, they haven't updated the moddb download yet, so this is the old version, go to their site for the download link for the new file, the button pressing error is fixed in that.
