Just a hardcore modder, experience on various levels of asset production of various type on differing systems. Music wise i listen about anything besides jazz, classical etc crap or rap but i'm mostly metal head by core.

Just do CustomPalette=tiberium.pal for file tiberium.pal and so on and make sure it is in animations list, that easy, just none of that / stuff. Of course make sure pal is C&C pal too.

Mods generally are harder since basic games are usually this age considered too easy (unlike 80s and some 90s titles) and is useful for learning the basics. MO caters more to hardcore fans that know how to play the game and want a challenge than push over like original game is. If you truly do bad in every C&C mod out there, you need to go back practicing on original games where AI is generally brain dead waiting you to make your slow moves. Sadly such slow pace and easy games do not really teach quick countering tactics or economic control too well unlike online games would.
Besides, you could always take AI allys for yourself or play sandbox by not choosing any opponents, just don't go 1 vs 1 with an AI if your that much of a rookie until have basics covered.

Not gonna see restore of fly mode for marauder, it is far too buggy/inconvenient with the air mode and thats why it was changed after a lot of debate.

Considering the previous building artists tasked for osiris/rest of mod have long since left (original plans were rather mindblowing) and the lack of building artists that may be very well the case but then history of the mod has its many downfalls from more idealistic viewpoint it coulda been but gameplay will always be its core virtue with diversity. Final release may never happen however in literal meaning of final.

Since you not like the mod saying its rehash and all, I fail to see the point why you mention this as it seems like saying one thing and meaning another infact. I am sure the MO team would be glad to hear your feedback on the gameplay issues you find jarring and later on implement if deemed fit.

Still files left then, if you did what I advised, your problem is solved. Either ecachemd98.mix/expandmd98.mix or other mod .mix file remains and shows the mod unit pictures. If you truly can not get it sorted by individual files you should wipe whole folder as advised and go from scratch. if you can't do either method then I can't advise further.

You know if you did uninstall of whole game and then manually deleted the folder that could not fail. Anyhow problem is just remainder files, if you mean the left side menu animation that is ra2md_l.bik, if present in folder delete. Else delete all expand/ecache mix files except for expandmd01.mix(official patch!) and your game is restored.

When playing as Nexus, you may pick to go for heavy armor branch essentially those walkers and some tracked tanks at expense of losing on hovers and thus mobility, else Nexus remains primarily as hover units army being most fast and real swarmer army. That guess is wrong tho, Mod was actually not developed for many months in any shape or form in last year and some of the work is actually much older. More on League and Osiris soon :)

I would expect more or less what has been shown and will be shown shortly and hopefully still some things you wont expect but I've more or less done all I can do on this engine so surprises are running short. future...time will tell but atleast an alpha.

Just be aware, pictures shown are 2.0 version and 1.99 is terrible predecessor and would be erased off the net once 2.0 got done. Single player hopefully work out something if only play originals in the mod flavor.

Well, mod is back in production, didn't feel that was worthy enough for actual news and well mod still needs to wrap up its technological branches ideally and each faction stolen technology mixes but my creativity is mostly out on those, no dumb uncounterable things like chrono demo truck wanted :D

Alright, will look into it. As for TI, I'm member of it as well or well did bulk of visual effects way back along some audio and generic coding tips and even TI is taking ages to get all done given talent is limited.

On the flip side, mod will get flamed for subpar work on various parts as a whole its more of a ambitious mess than solid product given it started more as a gameplay experiment to push the edges where everyone else kept it restrained or else screwed balance in process. Plans are for alpha release at best but can't say I like that option as I did subpar releases in past already and I am doomed to repeat that once again seemingly while I vowed not to but ideals fade in time.

Well, I have been opposed to writing a mod story beyond what the manual tells as campaign plans were supposed to tell the horrific story of survival but regrettably campaign is likely never to be done given I can't seem to finish actual mod even not to mention workload involved and typing up whole story plot campaign would tell would just kinda ruin it if I actually ever get to tell the plot via campaign as ppl would know every surprise in advance and generally appreciation for plain text is low as people want visuals & audio rather to tell the story else lose interest quick. Russian community? redsys.ru?
