I am a one-man modding army. I do this for fun and for the love of games and gaming. Not for profit. Games are art. They are culture. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise. This is NOT an "industry". I am the Creator of Fairy Tale for Civilization IV (2010), Dibella's Watch for Oblivion (2011) and Frontier for Skyrim (2012-13).

Yes, there are. I think I'm using the same spider as in Nehrim too, since it is a modder's resource. It's superiorily beautiful, but I always sweat like a pig when I have to fight one of them. I have a minor tendency of arachnophobia. :D

My God. Lemmy and Blinky. I used to use and comment on your Visual Tech Tree Editor for Civ before I gave up on modding Civ 5. I wish you gentlemen all the best and I wish you a lot of success with Zomboid!

I started out creating this for myself, but I fleshed it with a starting village and so on so I could share it. I've been using Robert Evrae's Alternative Start for years, since I'm dead tired of the tutorial dungeon.

My co-modder HighwayHoss was responsible for JoAnna and the Vestalla. Kudos to him. I must honestly say that I don't remember where the music files went, but search the mod's files, and I bet you'll find it. All the national anthems had names corresponding to the names of the proper nations. Sorry I can't be of more help, but for me, this was a year ago, and it's rather hard to remember.

No. One of the fundamental advantages of mods is the fact that they are free; free to build and free to play. The modding scene is one of the last outposts of true sharing and a form of non-commercial, non-egoist thinking. Talented modders will go on to create their own commercial games anyway and/or be picked up by some developer. The rest of us will want to keep this area free for all.

The witch lives in a little cabin west of Wordham Castle in the woods. The cabin is quite near the waterfall at the lake too. It's not very far from the castle and the village, just point your march west from the castle, and you can't miss her house.

Oblivion sells pretty cheap on Steam and other places right now, so you might want to consider watching the prices on there. There are a lot of companion mods for Oblivion, among other things, the CM Partners system, which adds probably hundreds of companions all over Tamriel, and you can even create your own. There's also Vilja. She's the best companion ever created for Oblivion and I can swear the girl is alive!

Weird, that it didn't work out for me, because I used that very tutorial too in my tests. It created problems with the in-game map, where the markers wouldn't show up on the in-game map and there was some other stuff going on too in the mod, as I recall. I will try again though, since I might have gone about things in a wrong way or something... Thanks.

Thanks for reporting. That IS a glitch. You see, as you enter the room where the sword is, one of the orcs is supposed to approach you and the dialogue there is supposed to advance the quest. I never obviously thought of the possibility that someone might kill them all before that orc even got the chance to approach.

I will fix it in the patch. If you need it quick-fixed in your ongoing game and don't want to go back to a previous save, please send me a PM and I'll supply information on how to get the quest going again. Thanks for reporting this glitch.

The many updates of the mod do invalidate existing saved games with characters that have been in DW during the beta phase. You can create a clean save with an existing character though, but all the quests have to be done again since the Beta. It does not invalidate saved games with characters that have never set their foot on Dibella's Watch soil.

Yep. Overwriting, or rather merging, won't delete anything, but just add to the Data/Textures folder. If you have some of the armours or whatever from before, it will ask to overwrite, and since these are the same textures overwriting, it's also safe.

Your load order is wrong. Use Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) to set it right. In short, just select DibellasWatch.esm in OBMM and click the "Move Up" button to move it up right under Oblivion.esm. More detailed instructions are found in the ReadMe (Oblivion/Data/DWReadMe.txt).

Robert's male Body is a recommended mod for Dibella's Watch, although not strictly required. It's the best male body replacer ever for Oblivion, like HGEC for female characters. I found a thread about its installation procedure on TesNexus forums here. Thenexusforums.com

Yes you are. Follow the installation instructions in the ReadMe (Oblivion/Data/DWReadMe.txt) and check that your game meets all the requirements. All that is found and clearly outlined in the ReadMe.

Dibella's Watch is completely compatible with Oscuro and the like, because it does not alter anything in Tamriel, but only adds to its own worldspace.

I thought long and hard, and actually, I have just activated Fast Travel with this very update. People will still discover the stuff I've created, since only a handful locations in the east of the island are shown on-map from the beginning, and you still have to venture on foot to all the new locations you'll discover to be able to revisit them using Fast Travel. Fast Travel makes the game as a whole flow better once the player starts the quests.
