The Witcher 2 is in a league of its own. I wish the Elder Scrolls would concentrate on the PC first and foremost too, for optimal results, but that's probably wishful thinking. I don't know about the modding for Witcher 2 either, but I can swear that the Elder Scrolls has the best community and tools around modding I've ever seen and that's what's keeping me producing stuff for the games.

Naah, you ain't got issues, for the fall of the Roman Empire is the most debated historical topic in western history. I bet you've read it already, but for anyone else with an interest in the area, I can recommend Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, written in the 18th century, actually, which is a great beginning for those who want to learn more about this topic. You'll also learn a lot about 18th century thinking too, since the author is really modern with some surprisingly modern thoughts and opinions.

Whyever would I do that? There's no reason to go into a digression about the history of Rome on a fantasy mod page; the fall of Western Rome and Byzantine history. Most people think of Rome as it was during its height with Caesar, Augustus and Trajan, they think of Gladiators, togas and Cleopatra when I mention Imperial Rome, and most people can relate to what I mean when I talk about the "the Empire surviving into the Middle Ages" and just mentioning Imperial Rome creates certain images in peoples' minds.

The Frontier is in its own worldspace. I hear there's a Tamriel-mod-project being created though which will add the whole landmass of Tamriel. You might check that out, becuase it would be quite awesome to sail about in Tamriel.

That's what I'm planning. The player will own his own castle and add upon it. There will also be land around it where a village will be built. The player will fund the castle with regular money, but the building of the village will be funded in a slightly different manner. I did something quite similar for Oblivion, but I didn't go all-in with it I feel, so I'm doing it now :)

When they got the new one, they just put that old in the attic. Beauty Betty lives in the attic, so she keeps it alight too, and since she is a very fire-safety-minded person, she has it low, so the wooden roof won't catch fire. Besides, it just looks good.

Robert's male Body is a recommended mod for Dibella's Watch, although not strictly required. It's the best male body replacer ever for Oblivion, like HGEC for female characters. I found a thread about its installation procedure on TesNexus forums here. Thenexusforums.com

Thanks! Yeah, I'm going to include some more massive capes too. It will go good on some of the bad-guys. If you want to have all the capes, you can download them Tesnexus.com they were released as a modder's resource, so that's why I get to use them too. There are smaller ones than this, and also a lot bigger ones. The guy who made them, made them back in 2007, I think, so they're old but still really look great.

There's boat transport from the harbour in Anvil. Talk to the orc captain (I believe his name is Rhughargh, or something) who's walking about there. He's usually near the ship with the lady dressed in purple on deck. The Orc captain will offer you a ride to Dibella's Watch.

That is weird indeed. On my system it works, as long as the DibellasWatch.esm is loaded as the first file after Oblivion.esm.

Try unchecking the DWAnvilTransport and teleport into Dibella's Watch using the Console command "coc PortZerrva". It's a long-shot, but I had a problem with the Anvil Transport earlier this evening creating a similar missing ground effect...

The mod is load order sensitive. You need to load the DibellasWatchBeta07.esp right after Oblivion.esm. This is done easily with OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager).

There is a text file included with the zip that explains exactly how to get the mod running. The laod order sensitivity is not good, I know, and it will be dealt with in future updates of the mod.

I hope you've activted the transport .esp (DWAnvilTransport.esp). It is included in the zip. The Orc's name is Gru-Rghargh and he's usually found near the ship where Varulae is standing on the deck.

Otherwise you can always enter the Console and write "coc PortZerrva", but that's the cheating way of getting there ;)

Kiitoksia paljon and tackar ödmjukast. As a perfectionist, I myself don't think it's too amazing as yet, but I will be making it very much amazing before November. Work is proceeding fast as lightning too and I'm having all sorts of fun with all parts of Oblivion modding, so in the end this will end up being a really massive mod. A lot of work has gone into it already, and I need Beta-testers, so if you want to check out one of the Beta Versions that'll be coming along, it will be much appreciated.

Hey. I actually don't remember how it was done anymore, but I worked a lot with music and this mod contains a lot of it. You should search the CivFanatics tutorial pages, or post on the Civilization 4 forum there. I followed one of the tutorials when I did it the first time around, and the guys at CivFanatics are really helpful too if you run into problems! Good luck with the mod!

Thank you kindly. Although I myself have a new machine now, I continue to make it imperative that this mod shall work on my older one as well. I think hardware approx anno 2007 should run this mod sufficiently, and that is one of the goals, and that will never change either. It is very important. There are a few things we're planning to make the game even faster in the future as well.

The Missing Interface problem should be solved now. There's a patch for it right here on ModDB (If it's not in moderation queue still, but it'll be cleared soon!) which should take away the problem. The game had problems recognizing some of the alphabet characters used!

Thank you kindly. The issue with missing interface is really weird, but we are trying to solve it. Your friend's game might conflict with BUG or some other stuff in the Custom Assets, if he has that.

No. It should not be compared to Fall from Heaven. This is something very different. It has absolutely nothing to do with Fall from Heaven, other than that excellent mod, of course, serves as inspiration in some aspects. This should stand on its own feet and comparing it to FfH is actually not fair or even logical, since it will probably never get up to that class. Comparing it to FfH is actually not giving it a chance :P

Thanks. Yep. I wanted to make them very different, although I wanted some stuff to tie them all together as humans too. I'm going to add more factions in the future, but I want to make sure these first ones are balanced for the game first. Shadows is on its way, so there will be a substantial update then as well.

The thing is that all the NPC's as well as animals and monsters need NavMesh, and that's something I will add to the continent as I start adding those living things as well as the quests. The NavMesh will take a lot of work. There will be some animals just standing about though in the early beta.

Yes it is. Talos-worship is still permitted in the Frontier since it's not an official part of the Empire and not affected by the White-Gold Concordate. This particular shrine is found in Castle Lone Wolf, where the Crusaders live. They consider themselves the last defenders of Talos and have been having a boost since the worship of him was outlawed.

Resources are mostly made by other people though and the mod will be having an extensive list of credits. I already use resources for trees, buildings and statics created by other modders and shared. Weapons and armour added to Frontier are chosen with great care and I've already added some pretty good stuff to the mod.

Thank you kindly :) I know I'm never going to work within the gaming industry, but since I really love games and gaming, this is my small way of contributing to the development of the greatest artform of our age. In our times, the Rembrandts, van Goghs and Picassos are found within game development.

ETA is still to be decided. There will be a beta with only the world when it's designed; no quests and no NPC's in that beta yet. And yes, this is its own worldspace, separated from Skyrim, but still a part of the Elder Scrolls world and lore.

It entirely depends on how fast I work. Since it's only me doing it, it's hard to say, and I'm not stressing it either, but putting a lot of attention into detail. The fact is, that I'm currently working on the very last fourth of the exterior which is planned to be ready for the beta, so that's why I can at least say - soon. :)

Weird, that it didn't work out for me, because I used that very tutorial too in my tests. It created problems with the in-game map, where the markers wouldn't show up on the in-game map and there was some other stuff going on too in the mod, as I recall. I will try again though, since I might have gone about things in a wrong way or something... Thanks.
