I am a one-man modding army. I do this for fun and for the love of games and gaming. Not for profit. Games are art. They are culture. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise. This is NOT an "industry". I am the Creator of Fairy Tale for Civilization IV (2010), Dibella's Watch for Oblivion (2011) and Frontier for Skyrim (2012-13).

Thanks. Yep. I wanted to make them very different, although I wanted some stuff to tie them all together as humans too. I'm going to add more factions in the future, but I want to make sure these first ones are balanced for the game first. Shadows is on its way, so there will be a substantial update then as well.

The Eva wouldn't be seen flying in anything but his excellent ship designs. They work really great in-game and look eye-bleeding good. :)

The thing is that all the NPC's as well as animals and monsters need NavMesh, and that's something I will add to the continent as I start adding those living things as well as the quests. The NavMesh will take a lot of work. There will be some animals just standing about though in the early beta.

I feel the urge to start tracking right now! I began my gaming career in 1987 with Sid Meier's Pirates! being my first ever true love. What a relationship it was :) I wish you luck on this project and hope to play it when you're done.

Thanks! I'm not certain how large it is in square miles. It's 32x32 cells though; large enough to be manageable for one single modder. I'm closing in on having it all hand-made with the exterior completely done!

I'd be more than happy to link from my own development blog on Frontierskyrim.wordpress.com to yours and comment on it too, but the link you provided in the article seems to be wrong.

Yes it is. Talos-worship is still permitted in the Frontier since it's not an official part of the Empire and not affected by the White-Gold Concordate. This particular shrine is found in Castle Lone Wolf, where the Crusaders live. They consider themselves the last defenders of Talos and have been having a boost since the worship of him was outlawed.

Three. Me, myself and I. :D I do all the landscaping, interiors and background and quest-writing. Resources are mostly made by other people though and the mod will be having an extensive list of credits. I already use resources for trees, buildings and statics created by other modders and shared. Weapons and armour added to Frontier are chosen with great care and I've already added some pretty good stuff to the mod.

I know I'm never going to work full-time with this, but I'd like to do my own game some day. As a hobby and no monetary interests involved at all. Just as a gift to the world and the artform of gaming.

Thank you kindly :) I know I'm never going to work within the gaming industry, but since I really love games and gaming, this is my small way of contributing to the development of the greatest artform of our age. In our times, the Rembrandts, van Goghs and Picassos are found within game development.

ETA is still to be decided. There will be a beta with only the world when it's designed; no quests and no NPC's in that beta yet. And yes, this is its own worldspace, separated from Skyrim, but still a part of the Elder Scrolls world and lore.

I actually sometimes have to delete houses and other features that look good but I never have a chance of finishing. It feels like killing my own beloved children, but sometimes it needs to be done. Part of the artform is to create the stuff within the given, logical frames, especially being a single modder. It's hard, but part of the deal.
