The issues is with the installer. It is not perfect. It placed your files you need in the wrong folders structure. Forget everything and just move the files/folders around so you have the following structure so that FarCry can find them when you select the coop mod:

Farcry/Mods is where all mod folders go. (we all know this)
In side the Mods folder you must have a ASSAULT_COOP folder
Inside this folder you must have two folders and some files
Folders = FCDATA and Levels
Files = moddesc.txt
Modexe.lua
ModPreview.DDS

In the FCData folder must contain your zzz_bot.pak file and the zzz_scripts.pak file
The Levels folder is where ALL the map folders go for the Mod.
