This is Battlefield 2 like you have never experienced it before!

If you are like me, and most other people, vanilla BF2 infantry gameplay has always felt lackluster, and left a lot more to be desired. The weapons in regular Battlefield 2 always had almost no recoil, or the bullets deviate all over the place. This always resulted in sloppy gunplay.

Well, this conversion brings not only better infantry combat, and better weapon and bullet dynamics, but it also visually exceeds in stunning detail!

This is how you have always wanted BF2 to feel and play. The character models and handheld weapons are amazing!

The lighting and vegitation and ground textures really polish this game and make it look much more up to modern day standards.

The mod is far from 100%, and will be getting more support by the developer, but already it shows so much promise!

Heat of Battle

Let me start off, by saying I have NEVER been a fan of vanilla Battlefield 2 weapon handling, recoil, turn speed or ballistics. It always felt super sloppy to me, like somebody tied the barrel of the weapons into knots and also hit them with a hammer.

Well, this mod basically fixes the biggest problem I had with the base game. It looks amazing, and also sounds and feels great too. The suppression effects, tracers, bullet whiz sounds, and ambient gunfight sounds in the background give the mod a really convincing feeling of immersing you in the experience.

It also doesn't hurt that it is using some amazing weapon models as well. If you are growing tired of the stale gunplay in regular Battlefield 2, then this mod might just be the remedy the Dr. ordered.

Wow, this mod brings COP into 2017! Graphically it is really pushing the limits of the game engine and might be pretty taxing on older hardware.

I rate a 10 out of 10 because of the graphics and interface have been given enhancements, but the original story and game is all intact!

Battlefield 2142

One of the most unique, underrated and addicting Battlefield games of all time. Titan mode is second to none! As much as I loved Rush modes in Bad Company and later games, Titan mode was where this game truly stands above the rest!

Battlefield 2 may be my favorite game in the series, just because of how long lived it has been and is still played today, but Battlefield 2142 comes a close second just from the amazing graphics and gameplay which was in many ways more advanced than BF2.

Diesel Guns

The game is still in early access on Steam, but the developer updates the game often polishing and adding more new content!

If you grew up playing Twisted metal and Vigilante 8 like I did, or even Interstate 76, then this is the game for you!

Beautiful Unreal Engine 4 graphics, and great optimization on older lower end CPU systems! I have a Phenom II X4 965 quad core @3.4ghz and an R9270X 2GB GPU and 8gb ram and the game runs fantastically on ultra for me!

The game is very affordable on Steam and you can't go wrong with it!

I liked the game so much I made a Steam Group for it so we can find other players who own the game easily!

This is the modern car combat game we have always wanted on PC but haven't seen for decades!

Great mod that everybody should take the time to play. Has some classic 20th century tanks that are really amazing. Plus they have the Mig-15, so I am pretty happy with that! XD

Call of Duty 3

I don't know what it is about the game, but it is my favorite COD hands down. Something about the recoil of the weapons being more realistic than any of the other games make it stand above the rest of the games for me. Nothing like getting a long range kill with an MP44 or a B.A.R. by managing your pulls of the trigger to squeeze off rounds over 100 meters away. The fact that it has vehicles, really makes it stand out as well.

I know a lot of people knock this game for being too similar to COD 2, but in reality only the WW2 setting and the fact it is a FPS are all that is similar. It used a custom game engine as well, The last COD game to do so as COD 4 and up were built on the same engine as COD 2. It has nice effects like great depth of field, Parallax mapping, God Rays, 3D laser scanned weapons, uniforms and HD recording of the actual weapon sounds. The MG 42 mounted on the back of the German truck is one of the best sounding guns in any game.

I think younger people don't understand or like this game becasue they are comparing it to other games in the series, and the fact it has a completly different game engine to any of the other COD games.
