I honestly think you're doing a great job, just ignore him.
Yeah, imagine those long days, and you're just finally getting to your lunch break:
Oh boy, I'm tired already. Maybe I'll get a pizza, and maybe one of those large Cherry S-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
As long as The Shift has its' own modification folder, it's own gameinfo.txt, it is a mod. Merely new maps or not, you're over-using the term "MAPPACK".
Plus, wouldn't it feel wrong playing Black Mesa, then playing a remake of one of the original add-ons with entirely different content?
Note for the Author: You should try adding new skins to the face creation system to add further variety to the characters, especially for Doctor Rosenberg.
Hmm, even with multi-core rendering enabled, this part makes me lag so badly. Then the game decides to be funny and have extremely long load times. But, I still prefer long loading times with enormous maps over hundreds of loading points just to walk down a corridoor in Anomalous Materials...
IA? You mean AI? Sorry, I'm a complete grammar Nazi.
Plus dave, have you not noticed this is a Half-Life 1 mod? There are alot of limits in the GoldSrc engine compared to today's much more modern engines (Even though the Cry of Fear Devs did excellent work on pushing GoldSrc to the limit)
**** in my pants!
You make me swallow and ice cube from the laughter X(
Cry of Fear is a free game, plus you can download it on either Desura or ModDB free of charge. If you're trying to download it from a site that asks for payment, don't bother.
