"As a result of continual conflicts and unresolvable personal differences with one of my team leaders, Chris Doucette, I am no longer a part of this team. I'm sorry if I got your hopes up with any of my work. I am also withdrawing my models from this project - the Raptor Pen, Spas-12, M16A2, Compsognatus, Embryo storage, Jurassic Park gate, and the Raptor Transport Crate. I'd like to appologise to both the community for the setback, and to my other team members who will now have to replace them. Take heart in the team, If anyone can pull it off it is them: they have some very talented people that will deliver the experience you have been waiting for, and I myself will be watching their progress as they work."
Sam Lenon was a member i will dearly miss on my team.
(Reconstruction of the models Sam created will be start immediately.)
That is a good question. Me using my intellect would say that part of the explenation may lie within the boundaries of the permission we are going to shoot for. Gamespot would perhaps not want to talk about a game which *may* fail. It would cause a lot of hype though, so i don't see the harm. Maybe MODDB is not a site they visit frequently, who knows? We are willing to answer any questions regarding the game though, an interview would infact be very cool. The facts lie on this page though, this game is real, very real. ;)
Thanks chris! Yeah, we really want our models to look as good as possible, something i've attempted here, and on all my other models. Everyone on our team is very hardworking and they have good eyes, thankfully.
To the guy who asked about the team, and to everyone else:
Chris Doucette - Group Leader
Andre Boström - Group Leader/3D Artist
John Niccoli - Group Leader/Public Relations
Adam Vittoz - 3D Artist
Andriy Mykhailov - 3D Artist
Sam Lenon - 3D Artist
Rob Blight - 3D Artist
Markus Björklin - 3D Artist
Mierin Eronaile - 3D Artist
Thomas Veit - Webbdesigner
We strictly follow the movie/novel types. In the movie they did not use the M16A4, so thats not an option. Besides, if you dont like the handle, you wont see it anyways when your hand is grasping it! :)
In truth it is hard to compare really, we have not showed off gameplay yet. The Lost Worlds team is amazing, i admire their modelers. I dont see it as a competition really, since we are two teams who share the same desire.
Yes it will most definately have coop. Something we are discussing is mission coop, which is truly interesting. Imagine being chased by that t-rex in the jeep wrangler, and telling your friend to hit the gas.. the adrenaline :).
