there will be a few smaller releases in the near future. Buildings that didnt make the cut, an alternative terrain mod and other stuff. Check back at our Facebook page for the announcements.

yes this is a known issue. there is no fix so far. for now just do not extend the landing strips. thanks for reporting

in order to see the nighlights for custom content you need to have either SimCity 4 with RushHour or SimCity 4 Delxue Edition installed and have ALL official patches applied (including the BAT patch which is the one that will enable the nightlights).

this isnt supposed to be placed into the plugins folder. it comes with an installer. please follow the info in the readme, it's all in there.

Try copying the patch file into the SC4 install directory and run it again from there. This helped me. And obviously for this patch you need Rush Hours/Deluxe

an issue with the Mars Face landmark has been detected, the model file is missing. Easy fix: Download the below file and place into /My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins_SIMMARS/+Landmarks/SM_LM_MarsFace

yes, we are, but we needed more time to test the launcher program, we want to eliminate as many bugs as possible and we needed to revise the program. That's why there is a delay.

The revised program is in testing now. If that clears we will have the release file ready in no time! :)

Yes, agree that sending resources from Earth would be too costly. Mars has a lot of resources and in SimMars it is thought that they are used to create the colonies.

that's a fun idea :) creating new disasters is one of the hardest nuts the community hasnt really been able to crack yet.
We do have a "new" disaster, which is blowout (or decompression), but it is a modification of the fire disaster and basically removes the flames and only leaves the partcile effects.
Creating completely new disasters is definitely worth looking into it, but because it's so advanced it will be at a later stage of the mod

that's an idea for the future. Apart from the big workload it wouldn't be a big problem to start the game using different sets of plugins.
SimMoon would be suggesting itself as first "sequel"
