When in god mode it shouldnt be possible for the grenade's to kill you:)
And yes this will only happen to enemies. As grenade death's on the player is now used as get hit / recover moves.
I said there will be cheats.
And yes, god mode is there too.
The cheats will be the same as in vanilla mp2.
However god mode, can remove certain moves. So i wont recommend it :)
Trailers shows guns aswell :)
However this mod mainly focus on melee combat. You can still use guns if you want too:) And yes cheat codes are intact aswell.
All guns have been replaced with new ones, wich is basicly found in the demo :) And i've merged the mod with Pe3's effects and gun handling, so you have an awesome time when using guns aswell :)
His fight style has been implented perfectly into the bourne game. Adding him here would be a shame since i cant have as cool takedowns as his :/
I apologize for the lack of updates the past month.
However, i've got the rest of the week off from work so expect updates later this week.
My plan for this batch of modding is to get rest of the levels to a 100%.
It's basicly just enemy ai that needs to be done. After that its testing all characters movesets to see if they are all up to date, as some movesets never got to be updated when i did major changes etc.
After that final beta's should be send out.;)

I like the one handed shootdodge idea much. I've also planned on making it aswell, but just havent found it fit in KFE.
If you removed dual pistol for the reason of it, then i can tell you it can be very simply made so when having 2 pistols he uses a 2 handed shootdodge, while using 1 pistol he uses the 1 handed shootdodge :)

That is true. This map was made by wiktorus_pro, but he and his creations was kicked out of the vs2 team for some reason i cant remember.
So what is more perfect than putting it to use here?:)

Plus as i stated earlier, it gives a fresh breath to the old mp2 levels with the newly added models and you have to get used to the idea anyway ;)

I hope i can push it out in no more than 3 months. But no promises on that point though.
I'll do my best to keep it, cause i know i wont get much time after june this year to mod. So it would be best for everybody if i can pull it off :) And seeing as how all maps are roughly 90% scripted. It shouldnt be impossible.

It's 1.8 now. later this week i'll get some more levels wich will take it up to.. 2.1-2.2 gb. So i think its around there :) Unpacked of course. Dont know what it will be when i pack it but we'll see :)
Well then it's just your choice not to play as max:) that can't be my problem. I cant and wont make both playable, so if you want classis payne then mod my mod:p
My job is giving you a fresh experience with cool close quarter combat. Even in original mp2 levels. In my mind i wouldnt be able to do that using the classic mp2 max model.
So if someone doesnt like it then it's as simple as choosing another character:) where i have 12 others to choose from:)
And in my eyes max has the coolest moveset, but some might find one of the other characters cooler, so there's alot to choose from:)
Yes ;) And it is cool. PE3 and VEMP Gave you the original max. I need to go in a different direction to change it up in my mod, otherwise we would just see the same and same models over and over again. So the bald max is the way to go to keep things fresh.
Batman and nite owl cant be compared as they are 2 different hero's from dif universe. Max is max. Now only bald.

Did several new max models for the different situations in the original mp2 story. Just like payne effects 3 had the casual office max with shirt untucked and tie loosened etc.
So the tank top max has 2 versions : Clean and Bloody (used in hospital levels as a homage to Die hard )
And an office version without the leather jacket and such.
So they are all now the bald bearded max. Many dislike this max, but its happening in max payne 3 so people might aswell get used to it. And personally i love the new look :)
Of course you can choose not to play as max, but then you'll miss out on what is basicly the best moveset of all ;)
There will at some point be a new video. But that would probably serve as the launch trailer. So it's not around the corner, but will come :)
Nope. As i've written earlier if you go just one page back, i already said we're nearing the completion phase for this mod. So i wont do 3 weeks of work on a another demo when i can use that one actually getting the whole package out.
Narh thats simple enough. The Vertex weighing is going to be a bitch though.
Update on the model:
Fixed tattoo's. Did some work in blending options and turned opacity down a bit so they look more natural on the body instead of the total black color.
The versions are for myself to see how far i get. If you look close in the trailers from 1-3 that the mod evolves with every trailer for the better:)
