Okay, another question: Could you add a version that works for Unreal Tournament? I am making a mod that runs on Unreal Tournament's engine, and it uses the original Unreal's weapons. I tried using this for my mod, but it didn't work.

It would be awesome if next to each "Remember: If you see an orange jumpsuit, hit the RED button" poster was a Red Button that you could press that would cause your jumpsuit to self-destruct and kill you instantly. Because you are a test subject, you instinctively push any buttons you see.

What is the Trinity engine?
I came up with an awesome idea: Non-Lethal Security Turrets.
Due to a shortage of test subjects, the turrets have been redesigned to fire stun ammunition. When they 'kill' you, you instead fall over, the creen fades to white, and then the scene fades back in and you are back at the previous checkpoint.
I miss the Combine Orbs...
In case you haven't noticed, most of the technology used by the combine is stolen from Aperture and Black Mesa.
- The turrets are similiar (except they don't talk, and they have fewer guns)
- The Weapon Strippers use Emancipation Grill technology
- They have Force-Field bridges that are similiar to Hard-Light bridges.
- The orbs that they launch out of their Pulse Rifles are just Aperture Science High Energy Pellets.
If you modded Portal to use Half-Life 2 turrets, the gameplay wouldn't be that different. Sure, they wouldn't be talking to you and you wouldn't see any targeting lasers, but still...

Also, now that Particles can go through Portals, you should have the Portals shoot Particles inwards, not just outwards, that way the two open portals will look like they are linked. The Orange Portal emits orange particles and the Blue Portal emits blue particles as always, but blue particles can come out the Orange Portal and vice versa.
And a Stargate-Style particle effect for Portals opening and closing would look VERY cool. Not implying that you have to make it, though.
And you have to beat it without cheats.

That would be very awesome, but it might be better served as a doo-dad (no gameplay value, just a map feature).
Change the name to Stargate, make the gate dial a different address depending on what you want to build, make it spin, and make it open up a wormhole.
Combine that with the Shader Mini-Mod (see the TF2 Mods Section on this website), and you have a really cool looking game. Then, you make an entirely new map and gamemode out of it.

The Emancipation Field Emitters in Portal 2 are a newer model. They are faster, more effecient, and more powerful. They can destroy larger objects, they can destroy objects faster, and they use up less power in the process. The test chambers using the older EFEs are the ones that recieved less repair over the years.
And please remove all references to anything from TF2 (THat includes but is not limited to RED and BLU)

The TimberWolf MkII is an Assualt Mech. The Owen is a Medium Mech. The Uziel is also a Medium Mech. The Argus is a Heavy Mech.
The Legion has a bit more Gold. Unless you want a Caldari-looking ship.
Keep the Phong Shading. THere is a Half-Life Source mod that improves the shaders and I believe it also adds Phong support.

Looks great. But I am starting to get kind of annoyed that every image I see that has anything to do with a Source Game automatically has something from TF2 in there.
That is not good enough. We need actual human arms, not HEV Suit arms with skin and a shirt on them.
I would like to see this with Head Tracking and support for 3D Glasses. Here are two examples of Head Tracking. I can't show you the 3D support because someone deleted the picture.
I recommend you place a Jeep Spawner inside the map. Or even better, a hover vehicle that goes very fast, turns on a dime, can stop instantly, and can fly. That would be sweet.
I believe the Unreal II Engine and the Source Engien use the same software to make models. Is the same true for the Unreal 3 Engine? Because I would like to see some Unreal 3 models inside a Source Game. Also, don't forget to add PhysX to the Source Engine when you make the Source version.

Did you know that you can add more weapon slots? With that, you can have more weapons.
Also, I like having the barckets around the crosshair. Perhaps you can have Double-Brackets. The Inner Left Bracket would represent Health, while the Inner Right Bracket could represent Ammunition. The Outer Left and Outer Right Brackets would represent Shields and the Ammunition for your weapon's Secondary Attack.
Also, the compass reminds me of the motion tracker from the AVP Games. Perhaps you can add a Rader/Motion Tracker function?
And some Thermal Vision would be awesome as well.

Screw texturing the entire map. Sometimes, the map looks great as it is with all of the Orange and Gray.
Metal being bent actually uses a form of Cloth Physics. Just check out the AEGIA PhysX Engine (or NVidia PhysX, either one works)
If you could add that to Source, then Valve would be all over your mod.
It is too bad that the colors are messed up, because unlike in Half-Life, you can't change the colors on your model in a Source Game.

The one with it turned off has the best Gravity Gun Glow, and the textures aren't as blurry, while the one on the right has the best lighting, and the one in the middle has the best-looking textures.

Hey, I just now noticed something, I was looking at the Motion Drive page, and on the Related Games Sidebar, it showed Episode 2, which just happens to have the image of a car.
So it is a smaller version of the RPG?
I have an idea: The ability to load and fire another rocket or switch to a different weapon while the one you just fired is still flying. I also want the ability to turn off the laser guide in the event I am going to be taking cover and/or moving around alot, or if I just want to use a Fire and Forget Strategy.

Instead of View Models, you just have the camera placed in the head of your World Model, thus, when you look down, you can see your legs, and you won't need view models for guns or arms.

You should have demonstrated the functions of the different cubes in the same video. The Ice Cube's immunity to electrified water, as well as it's vulnerability to everything else, the Fire Cube's ability to melt ice, and it's vulnerability to water, the Emancipation-Resistant Cube, the Clock Cube, and all of those other cubes.

Also, there will be a laser fence slowly closing in on you, and the glass below you will break, and the pit will be on fire, but the turrets will be immune to it. And try adding a Rocket Turret to the middle.
I bit the Companion Cube has some kind of secret behind it. Perhaps it isn't a weighted storage cube, but something else. And when GLaDOS warns you not to speak to it, or listen to it, I get suspicious.
Perhaps it is a non-weighted storage cube that has a personality core inside of it, but it was sealed closed. It would make more sense. Perhaps it is designed to contain every human emotion, and was built as a back-up in case the first four Personality Cores were destroyed, that is probably why GLaDOS made YOU destroy it.

It IS possible to do that (porting Half-Life 2 Models into Half-Life 1). Back in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, people have been doing it all of the time, and on a Zombie-Mod Server, all of the Zombies used the Half-Life 2 Zombie Model.

I know this is an old screenshot, but make the hallway semi-circular, that way when you are going down the infinite hallway it will be more realistic.
It is too bad that the Portal 2/Alien Swarm version of the Source Engine doesn't support content from earlielr versions, because it would have been awesome if you had Zen wildlife in Aperture, plus some way to kill them.
Not only that, but a friend of mine got bored and decided to start poking around Portal 2's sound files, and found something about Aperture Zombies. I wonder what that is for.

I have an idea: Dark Grey (and reflective) spheres, with vivid lights (blue for Player 1, orange for Player 2). The lights would change to green when they activate a button, and instead of a circle around an Aperture Symbol or around a smaller circle, it will just be a large, glowing Aperture symbol.
You should also make it so that you can rotate the camera.
I wonder if you can find a way to add DirectX 11 to the mod.
Of course, you would have to hack the Source Engine, and thus Valve would be ****** off unless you bought a license from them.

Well, I did like those newer chambers, like the Momentum one or the one where you have to keep the cube from falling into the coolant.
You should place two portals on it and show us what happens.
Better idea: Make it a blue, glowing, electrified floor of death, with an EMANCIPATION GRILL ontop of it.
I think you should replace the Banner with the Infinity Loop, except it is made out of Portals, and the Portal Stick Figure wold be using them.
Maybe you should replace the Circle and the Aperture symbol with a single, large Aperture Symbol that changes color and is light up.
Change it to be a Dark Grey receptical with Green Lights.
