Let's make Sony take half their Lemons back! The other half... make lemonade.
I think it will better if the back of his hand was facing the other way.
Do I put this in Sourcemods or my Alien Swarm directory?
I tried to install the Alien Swarm Director Mod, but nothing happened.
I put the exe file in its own directory (under sourcemods), but nothing happened. Am I suppossed to put it in the Alien Swarm directory (under common)?
Please bury my previous comment.
I am having issues installing this thing.
You need to add a bots feature.
I have Alien Swarm and Alien Swarm SDK installed, but do I put this mod in a Sourcemods folder or do I put it in the Alien Swarm directory? And more importantly, will I get VAC-Banned if I do the latter?
firstperson; asw_hide_marine 1; asw_controls 0
Just some console commands if you want to play normal Alien Swarm in first-person.
If you can, try to add a thing for mouse sensitivity in the autoexec.cfg file. Also, remember to turn off V-Sync. The mouse lag you get from V-Sync is just horrible.
When Valve made TF2 free-to-play, everyone on Steam automatically owned a copy of Source SDK, which meant that they were able to play Source Mods.
I can think of another potential use for this though.
Now Medics and Special Weapons guys are pretty much useless.
Will this get me Vac-Banned?
Also, do you think you could implement bots and perhaps even dynamic color correction?
Also, will this download still function properly once I install MapPack 1.2? MapPack 1.2 has very strict installation instructions and requires a completely vanilla Alien Swarm to intall for some reason.
How did you open the lock if you weren't a tech?
Just imagine how dangerous this would be when combined with Onslaught mode.
Intergalatic Proton-Powered Electric Tentical Advertising Droids!
Did you remember to use smoothing groups? Or did you just smooth out the whole thing?
Also, shouldn't you lower the polycount and just use a texture for most of the detail? That looks like it might have too many polygons.
I wanted to install Project Beta, but the page is missing. I also wanted to get some hands for my Portal Gun :(
What is the Trinity engine?
He needs to get either a Capture Card or a Hauppage HD PVR. I admit that they are expensive, but I think they are well worth it.
I wasn't advertising here. I'm sorry. Geeze.
Also, I miss it when the GLaDOS started talking whenever you shoot a camera off the wall.
Wake up, Mr. Freeman.
Weighted Personality Cube
"We kidnapped some mechanical eyeballs from an undisclosed location. One of them had the personality of the very rude CEO of one of our competitors, and he has been assigned to be your companion throughout this next test. Beware, he seems obsessed with combustable lemons."
"DEMAND TO SEE LIFE'S MANAGER!"
I came up with an awesome idea: Non-Lethal Security Turrets.
Due to a shortage of test subjects, the turrets have been redesigned to fire stun ammunition. When they 'kill' you, you instead fall over, the creen fades to white, and then the scene fades back in and you are back at the previous checkpoint.
Someone needs to make Rectangular Portals.
Get a Hauppage HD-PVR or a Capture Card or seomthing like that.
I made some very good tests if you want to use them. I also know how to trap the player intentionally.
I wonder if you guys could update Alive and Kicking to be compatible with Portal 2's new main menu (because of PTI being released).
Also, will the mod feature co-op?
'Android Hell is a Real Place' reminds me of TRON Legacy
I assume you have been trying to merge Old Aperture and New Aperture?
Also, I noticed the Portal Gun has hands on it, so good job. Now you just need to upgrade from a normal map to an SSBump :D
Orbs AND Lasers? Holy **** this is going to be an awesome mod!
Also, I noticed that the Orb caused fluctuations on the portal when it got closed to it.
And finally, why are you using the Portal 1 cubes? Can't you just have a compromize between Portal and Portal 2?
I miss the Combine Orbs...
In case you haven't noticed, most of the technology used by the combine is stolen from Aperture and Black Mesa.
- The turrets are similiar (except they don't talk, and they have fewer guns)
- The Weapon Strippers use Emancipation Grill technology
- They have Force-Field bridges that are similiar to Hard-Light bridges.
- The orbs that they launch out of their Pulse Rifles are just Aperture Science High Energy Pellets.
If you modded Portal to use Half-Life 2 turrets, the gameplay wouldn't be that different. Sure, they wouldn't be talking to you and you wouldn't see any targeting lasers, but still...
