I am not really a fan of the hands they used on the Pulse gun, in all honesty. Do you think you could replace them with the hands used on some of the other weapons, as a low-priority task?

I know you guys aren't the original creators, but let me give you some feedback anyway.
The first mission is a little too difficult. Even with an Atlas and Cylops, my pilots keep having to punch out. I tried editing the level myself, but the editor crashed when I tried to save the modded version. Here are some ideas to make it easier;
1) Replace the Men Shen with a Raven
2) Connect the turrets to capturable turret controls
3) Replace the Jaegermech with a medium mech. I lost both a Cyclops and an Atlas because of that guy
4) Enable some the other support options.
You really need to find a voice actor.
Is that model rendered using the in-game graphics engine, or is it just an image taken of another rendering program?

What is the FOV set to? Because I highly recommend that you set it to at least 90 degrees (and give the player the option to set it even higher if they really feel it necessary). This can help eliminate motion sickness.
Speaking of FOV, I was playing Half-Life Source a few weeks ago, and out of sheer boredom I set the FOV to 120 degrees with the console, and it felt like I was moving WAY faster than I actually was.

I have an idea: Dark Grey (and reflective) spheres, with vivid lights (blue for Player 1, orange for Player 2). The lights would change to green when they activate a button, and instead of a circle around an Aperture Symbol or around a smaller circle, it will just be a large, glowing Aperture symbol.
You should also make it so that you can rotate the camera.
I wonder if you can find a way to add DirectX 11 to the mod.
Of course, you would have to hack the Source Engine, and thus Valve would be ****** off unless you bought a license from them.

Well, I did like those newer chambers, like the Momentum one or the one where you have to keep the cube from falling into the coolant.
Better idea: Make it a blue, glowing, electrified floor of death, with an EMANCIPATION GRILL ontop of it.
Maybe you should replace the Circle and the Aperture symbol with a single, large Aperture Symbol that changes color and is light up.
Change it to be a Dark Grey receptical with Green Lights.

Low Polygon would be under 35,000 Polygons, and High-Polygon (on the Source Engine) would be up to 60,000 (unless the Source Engine can now support 100,000 Polygons, which would be epic).
If I were you, I would use at least a 512 x 512 Texture (or 1024 x 1024 for HD).
But Colossal does make very good textures, you have to agree on that. Maybe you can ask him to enhance the textures slightly.
Don't forget to add a high surface to drop from. Bouncing as soon as you touch it can be a problem.
Valve's solution (Repulsion Gel): Walking ontop of it doesn't cause you to bounce, and crouching prevents bouncing. It always bounces you from the same height you fall from, and it always bounces you a minimum height.

I don't know muh about FL Studio, but you should try adding WavePad and Audacity to your list of programs.
Those Muzzleflashes look a little too explosive and too cloudy. They also have too much orange. Make them smaller and smoother and less spread out, and make them more of an orange-ish white.
Also, those are some big bullet casings.

Try making each Portal a differet color.
Mark Johnson is a partner with Black Mesa. Unlike Aperture Science, Aperture 2 was running out of money and was bought by Black Mesa as a subdivision.
He overdid it on the rust.
Try making the rust more of an orange-ish brown, spread it out, and put it in areas that would absorb alot of air moisture. Then it will look less like blood.
Also, make it all dirt/dust covered, and give it a bunch of dents and scratching (no remodling here, bumpmaps are on your side).
Very broken down and old-sounding. I like it. The explosions remind me of Metroid Fusion on the Gameboy Advance.
Looks similiar. Does it have to be as run down as it is in Portal 2, though? It was only 23 years. I am sure the Emergency Systems tried to maintain the facility (but eventually they stopped working).
Also, it has a Microwave and Mini-Fridge, but it also needs:
- Toilet (in booth or restroom)
- Pencil and Paper
And MAYBE you could make the bed a Bunkbed (it is too costly to build a bunch of storage pods for single Test Subjects, especially since they used to have so many).

Can you use actual "weapons" on this thing? Photon Torpedoes should be scrapped. Same thing with Phazers, they are extremely unreliable. I recommend Lasers, Ship-to-Ship Missile Launchers, and Projectile-based weaponry.

It isn't a laser, it is a Plasma Bolt. There is a huge scientific difference.
Redesign the Rocket Launcher.
Also, the ability to turn off the Laser Guidance System is very useful for many purposes. For example:
- Fire and Forget
- Ducking Behind Cover
- Firing down shafts
- Firing Multiple Rockets at Different Targets
Left Click: TrackBeam
The TrackBeam consumes ammunition very fast and lasts as long as you hold down the left mouse button. It is weak, but it follows the target around and you can use it to move the target around.
Right Click: Red Plasma
Hold down the right mouse button to charge it, and then release it to fire a huge bolt of red lightning, capable of setting things on fire. It drains the powercell, and can cause the weapon to explode if not handled properly. Using it underwater will kill you.

Dude, this game barely uses up about 40-50% of the PSP's Cpabilities, it not less. One PSP Game had the same graphics as it's PS2 Cousin, and it was only using 60% of the PS2 Technical Capabilities. These people can push the limits if necesarry.
Also, the GoldSource Engine has some advantages over the standard Quake Engine, and the PSP Hardware and Software can run the GoldSource Engine. THink about it, the PSP has even more powerful hardware than the DS, and someone got a Half-LIfe mod to run on DS.
In the summary, first you said it was 5 months before the City 17 Incident, and then you said it was 5 Weeks before the City 17 Incident.

The Source Engine does not support Mutators. This is not being made from the ground up on a custom-built engine.
Add the following:
- Orange: Makes you move faster and slide around
- Black: Very Sticky. Reduced movement speed and jump height
- Purple: You will go backwards when you try to go forwards, forwards when you try to go backwards, left when you try to go right, and right when you try to go left
- Rusty Metal: This panel appears to not do anything. My guess is that it is broken. Look, you can even see the rust.

Half-Life 2 has an MP7, that is the "SMG" that you use. But in reality, it is a machine pistol, which is way too small to fit a Grenade Launcher. Now the MP5 (Half-Life) is an actual Submachine Gun, which IS large enough for a Grenade Launcher.

Each Combine Soldier was suppossed to have a randomly selected Serial Number on their back, but Valve took the idea out because they had to come up with hundreds if different Serial Numbers and make sure that no two Combine Soldiers got the same Serial Number. Solution: program the game to show a randomly generated Serial Number on their back. Each Serial Number will be randomly generated by the computer for each Combien Soldier and deleted when the Combine Soldier no longer exists ingame (via Level Loading, Disintigration, etc, but both the NPC and Ragdoll have to be gone).
And I want to see detail from different World War II movies, especially Saving Private Ryan and Kelly's Heroes. It could be through small details, achievements, and even easter eggs.
The bots need names, such as Fred, or James, or something.

I notice that the weapon is close to the center of the screen. I guess it is because Portal has a larger field of vision than Half-Life 2.

Mirror's Edge: 120 Degrees
Unreal Tournament 2004: 110 Degrees
All other First-Person-Shooters: 90 Degrees, making the game feel slow, claustrophobic, and not natural, as well as limiting how much you can see

Mirror's Edge and Portal are equally awesome.
Mirror's Edge is basically about you trying to keep your Sister (who is a cop) from being convicted of a murder she didn't commit. ANd who do you play as? A Message Runner who delivers messages secretly because everyone lives in a city where all communication is monitored. ANd what type of game is it? Well, let's just say you are going to be doing alot of Walljumping and Rolling and Sliding.
And dodging bullets.

I want somebody to continue this work, and make a complete Pilotable Strider Mod. Multiplayer as an add-on to HL2DM and HL2CTF (and maybe GMod), and a seperate Singleplayer Version (with built-in Multiplayer), but both should use Source SDK Base.

I don't have Desura.
Yes I have the Alien Swarm SDK installed, and I obivously have the first two installed. But when I downloaded it, I got an EXE file, and nothing to tell me which directory to put it in, so what was I suppossed to do? Do I put it in its own Source Mods folder and just run the EXE file?
And instead of a Boss Fight, they put you on a a super-difficult, multi-part test with a timer.

I love the shaders you used. The cars aren't actually colored, but the way light reflects off of them, it gives them a vivid burst of color. Can the color be changed with a script or does it have to be chosen from a specific .vtf file?

Wow, 100 views. I guess a lot of people like TAG: The Power of Paint and want to see a Portal 2 remake of it. This also might mean that it is actually better than the other one, which is the exact opposite of what I first anticipated.

Common, just give us an update at least. This mod is two months overdue. I don't care how well polished it is, at least let people beta test it. That might make the mod's progress go a lot faster.

Last time I checked, the FOV of the Human Eye is not 90 degress but around 120 degrees.
