Let's make Sony take half their Lemons back! The other half... make lemonade.
What do you mean he doesn't want it. Are you trying to mind control him or something? That does not work at all, much less over the internet.
The spirals on the portals make them look like gears when you place them next to eachother.
What is with the Portal in the sign?
Now you know why you shouldn't use the Blueshift High-DefinitionModel Pack for reference: The Zombies in Blue Shift look more like bugs than anything else. I hate bugs.
Is it better than the previous version in anyway?
Also, will it repalce my Portal Files? Or am I not required to back up my Portal Files?
Did it replace your Portal files, or did it include the required files?
This website Auto-Censors things, I believe.
What was if with "sv_cheats 2"?
sv_cheats 0 = No Cheats Allowed
sv_cheats 1 = Cheats Allowed
Please use a Purple Portal instead, like in one of the official screenshots for Portal on the store page.
Next thing we know, GLaDOS will cut off the Test Subject's hand and replace it with a mechanical one with a built-in Portal Device.
Maybe we could add a system where if you stay in a portal too long you take a bit of damage. In the released version, the portals were perfectly safe, and the device was not. In the beta, the technology was old, and even the portals were unsafe in many ways, not to mention the device is even more unsafe, and prolonged exposure to the device can result in the discovery of glitches everywhere (this IS the Beta). Since it is suppossed to be the beta, I want there to be a few glitches intentionally left in
But you have to go through a hidden mini-chamber to get to a rocket turret and use a portal to blow open the wall with the red X, and you will find a sweet reward.
Make some more changes to this chamber. It needs to be bigger and more challenging. Perhaps Turrets? Cube? Button to Open the Door? Portal-Proof Walls?
Basically, the same, except the platform you start on is sloping downwards. And you need to put a cube on a button on the side you start on, and the cube is on the other side, which is lined with turrets, but you need to get that cube to your end and put it on the button. However, portal-proof wals get in the way, and the only walls you can put portals on are on the side with the door, and on the inside of the pit, so you have to risk your life and make an epic jump. And if you want to get the cube over to the starting end with the button, you have to use the momentum trick.
The spy is a lie
And you use Portal 2 Textures? I hope you use Portal 2 content on some of the stuff. Weighted Pivot Cubes look cooler than Weighted Storage Cubes, the Portal 2 Doors look better than the Portal Doors, the buttons in Portal 2 light up when activated, and Personality Cores look ALOT better in Portal 2. Take Wheatley, for example.
Will it replace my Portal Files if I use the installer? Or am I safe if I don't back up the Portal Files?
This time, Mr. Freeman, I will take away the illusion of free choice, and instead, choose for you...
There were moments in Portal where it seemed like the Gravity changed.
How is the player suppossed to get through that?
So this is portal, but the Test Chambers are modified so that you can take alternate paths and go through alternate chambers? Or is this a new game entirely?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see that this is the latter. Oh well.
December 22 is my birthday.
SOMEONE SAID FIRE! *Starts firing*
Wow, these are even better than what Valve made.
He changed the mode switch key to F11 because F12 is used for screenshots.
I want somebody to continue this work, and make a complete Pilotable Strider Mod. Multiplayer as an add-on to HL2DM and HL2CTF (and maybe GMod), and a seperate Singleplayer Version (with built-in Multiplayer), but both should use Source SDK Base.
Sleep Well, Quartz
Valve will let you do it. They always let people do this kind of stuff. It is selling the mod without Valve's permission that will be the problem, assuming you do try to sell it (not recommended).
It IS possible to do that (porting Half-Life 2 Models into Half-Life 1). Back in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, people have been doing it all of the time, and on a Zombie-Mod Server, all of the Zombies used the Half-Life 2 Zombie Model.
Sorry, meant to reply to another comment. I was trying to ask supe7nova
Also, the official page just takes me to some stupid Japanese Environmentalist Site
Are you one of the Developers?
If so, then you could start working with the Half-Life 2 Capture the Flag team, and you could create a super-mod.
Are you sure he's dead?
